Do you guys actually like the vaporwave "aesthetic"? Personally I like it, but vastly prefer the music. I know that when some people hear "vaporwave" their minds go straight to the visuals. I have many thoughts about this, but they might be more suited to the general aesthetic thread or even Q&A.

Synthwave, Retrowave, and Dark Synthwave are my go-to jams. Never really was into the Vaporwave stuff; some of it is okay, but I don't go out of my way to listen to it. The visuals seemed very hipstery back in 2015 when it was the "next big meme", but seeing them today they kind of make me eyeroll just a bit. Sample based music is always going to have a pretty inconsistent time staying up on jewtube.the fact that some of the original links from the start of this thread are unavailable should be pretty indicative of where vaporwave’s at right now
As a whole synthwave kind of fucks me off but this is the exception to that rule. "feel the rush tonight" rubs me all the right ways despite sounding like nothing else I really listen to.
Feel The Rush Tonight is great. You'd probably like other GUNSHIP songs. Since writing that post I went down the Chillwave/Vaporwave rabbit hole. I've sperged about music in this related thread, but realize most of it might not be your cup of tea. Still worth checking out though. GUNSHIP is mentioned once or twice.
