Why do people do this? Not every piece of information relating to yourself is powerleveling. Saying that you work as a vet tech is not powerleveling.

Even if it was, why do you think preemptively spanking yourself for breaking the rules makes you immune from it? If you're going to powerlevel, at least own it instead of acting like a middle schooler that just got called down to the principal's office.

I see it in almost every thread I browse. I imagine a lot of other people pick up on it too and it strikes me as a bizarre tendency that people have to announce it's a powerlevel when it's typically not.

IDK. I just find it to be pathetic and childlike.

Because some people who use this site are boneheaded. They want to appear "clever" when they point out a fellow user for "powerleveling" without considering the actual context of the post. They end up looking fucking stupid when they do it. These niggers are everywhere here. It makes me cry like a little school girl.
