Look I have had my kids since they were born I am their mother and grandmother to them and that is all that counts. Hearing those words to a woman is the most perfect moment to hear that baby say mommy the first time takes your heart.

And well seeing as I am not schizophrenic And have never been diagnose as such and in fact was put on hormones in the 80s which back then you had to cleared by a psych exam to get hormones and if you were found to be schizo you ended up on psych meds instead.

A common genetic heritage means nothing. Tons of Canadians have genetic links to indigenous peoples, but are fully part of mainstream society. They are not indigenous in any real sense, despite their genes. What matters is what you contribute to the community.
