Good luck with that Thomas. Denver isn't known for their gem shows other than the Denver Gem and Mineral Show and the Denver Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Jewelry Show. Neither of which you'd be allowed into. Denver isn't well known for anything to do with hippy culture unless it's drugs. It's also not known for art, but it's okay for music. After that it's just food and sport. Luckily if you do move there you'll be robbed or worse so I guess there's an advantage for you going there.
