It looks like his drawing skills haven't changed from the last time I saw his "art" over a decade ago, judging by his Tumblr posts. In some cases, his art actually devolved. It's fascinating, really. It's like a time capsule from the late 2000s/early 2010s.

Doesn't help that he also became a true prick towards everyone, let alone a complete creep. I'll give him brownie points for showcasing failed animated pilots and obscure to iconic vintage commercials. Still doesn't say much.

Does Michael Avenatti count? The former lawyer of Stormy Daniels when she tried to due Trump, who tried to turn his time in the limelight into a 2020 presidential run. He even was on Tucker Carlson and had a 10 minute slap fight over being called the "Creepy Porn Lawyer".

I'll add Kurt Eichenwald and the infamous "tentacle" hentai B-Chiku. Also Shia for HWNDU. I'm still surprised it (at least I remember) had 9 seasons.
 
The first guy I ever remember encountering on the internet that could've been considered a lolcow was Dave McNamara aka "Anti-Porn Guy". This is his archived website with missing pictures, and this is the only thing I could find (in about 15 seconds of searching) that has pictures. I don't think he ever actually interacted with the internet, but his website and rants got pasted around insidetheweb and boardhost forums and on AIM, as a 'get a load of this freak' thing.

The few people who remember him don't remember this part, but one day he replaced all the content on his site with a short statement about how a couple ministers took him to task over his views and that he was going to reevaluate his beliefs. And then he was never heard from again.

Not so much himself, but what people turned him into. Ken Bone, the big guy in the red sweater with glasses at one of the Hilary vs. Trump debates who asked a question and overnight became a meme. People made costumes, shirts, merchandise and he was even parodied on SNL for fucks sake. His "downfall" was when he hosted an AMA on pReddit and it turns out that he wasn't as wholesome as everyone wanted him to be. He personally seemed to take everything in stride while the main overreaction was from the surrounding hysterical masses.

I just recalled this guy earlier today out of the blue because I remember he used to refer to himself in Deviantart journals as St. Danny Wheeler, which I always found kind of weird considering he was a devout born-again evangelical Protestant iirc, and they tend not to venerate saints like Catholics or the Orthodox. Plus it’s just funny to imagine this creepy, balding nerd elevating himself to a moral position of sainthood when most saints are canonized posthumously, and you know, actually made contributions to society to warrant their title.

Anyway, I learned about Dboy about 7 years after he stopped being relevant, but what stuck out to me the most about him is how he was a very vocal about his beliefs and would quote random scripture out of context all the time and really hated gays.

Dboy was also a really creepy simp for this obscenely popular fan artist at the time called SonicRocksMySocks, who I think was roughly a decade his junior, meaning she would have been 17-18 in 2007. He’d draw really horrendous MSPaint fanart of her in an attempt to get her attention.

I also found this pic on my phone I saved back in 2015 that was originally on his ED article. His self-insert character is on the right. Note the full head of hair.

Does anyone else here remember the "Mary! Mary!" guy? That John Lennon-esque bowlcut bandit ass sperg making a painstakingly awkward Pokemon Amie-styled edit of himself as an UwU wahman.

What were their aliases/tags online? Did they leave a digital footprint by any means? Any documentation left behind? I am genuinely curious as to where they are at as of late - or as one would imply...most likely some very rocky prospects.
 
I can't remember his name but the guy who started Kony 2012.

When that failed to achieve the desired results he got arrested for public nudity in San Francisco and faded away into obscurity after that.
