i almost wonder if the burn scar man is at lodestar. since that would be the absolute final checkpoint as well as the place blackbeard might try and ambush luffy.Since Oda mentioned Burn Scar being important up next, its pretty obvious that Laughtale will be AFTER this next arc, not the next arc itself. If I had to guess, we're heading to Lodestar next, because Burn Scar's sole purpose to be in the story is that he supposedly holds the last of the Road Poneglyphs.
BINGO, its likely that we are about to have an absolute battle royale between the Yonko at Lodestar, with this battle royale potentially extending into a chase to Laughtale. After this will be the big war at Marie Geoise that I suspect White beard to have been predicting, followed up by a big post-war celebration at New Marineford or some shit where the Straw Hats and SWORD have a friendly competition.i almost wonder if the burn scar man is at lodestar. since that would be the absolute final checkpoint as well as the place blackbeard might try and ambush luffy.
Why do these work?:
I would argue largely because of the characters, setting and plot around them. And this doesn't?:
Naruto or Sasuke should have been a girl, then the Last could be about Sasuke decapitating Toneri with Chidori for trying to kidnap his girlfriend.I would argue largely because of the characters, setting and plot around them.
I can make a lot of complaints about Naruto as franchise, but I still think Naruto as a character is at least passable.
Sure later on he gets a little hyper focused on Sauske, but that makes sense. Naruto blames himself for Sauske's descent, not just for failing to bring him back at the end of Part 1, but because before they were put on Team 7 Naruto could have reached out to Sauske and was too much a pig headed little shit to do it.
see im wondering if maybe they run into SWORD at lodestar with koby challenging luffy to a fight which is when luffy learns about what happened to garp and how blackbeard is keeping him prisoner.BINGO, its likely that we are about to have an absolute battle royale between the Yonko at Lodestar, with this battle royale potentially extending into a chase to Laughtale. I could see BB having Avalo Pizzaro park Hachinosu either at Lodestar and/or Laughtale, technically grafting an additional "Pirate Island" arc onto Lodestar or Laughtale. Although I still wonder who Burnscar is. I think it might be a former member of the Rocks's Pirates, either Silver Axe or Barbell.see im wondering if maybe they run into SWORD at lodestar with koby challenging luffy to a fight which is when luffy learns about what happened to garp and how blackbeard is keeping him prisoner.
My guess is the Wigger and that other supernova who has done nothing are gonna show up. Enel/ One Piece M&M will likely somehow do his funny face when he realizes Luffy is someone who he has to ally with.I'm excited to see where the Straw Hats go after Elbaph, but also, I wonder how far we are into the arc. It feels like Egghead and Elbaph are both situations where the Straw Hats can't really stay in one place for long because they're really kicking the hell out of the hornet's nest harder than they've ever done before. It doesn't help that all they've really done so far is show up in Hajrudin's navigator's creepo depot, take a brief tour of the country, brawl with Gaban, and tool around with Loki while the others get their asses beat by the GK. From zero to one hundred.
I'm willing to bet that someone will just make the Loki argument come to an end by1. pointing out that neither side is budging about Loki being chained, so they need to decide once they hear about how Elbaf is being attacked, or 2. The flashback ends, and Loki is released because of some knowledge that has been revealed.I'm excited to see where the Straw Hats go after Elbaph, but also, I wonder how far we are into the arc. Weren't Dressrosa and Wano so long because they were the culmination of several in-universe machinations, including internal politics in the kingdoms in question? With the way One Piece is paced there really isn't time to do anything more than a basic location tour of anywhere or else we get Dressrosa or Wano again.
My guess is that it's explained that Luffy and the giants spending so much time arguing over Loki being chained is going to be described as the SHs overstaying their welcome once they see everything has gone to shit.As the arc's opening narration warns us, do not overstay your welcome. I do wonder how they do it though
They’re each the climaxes of their respective elements in the story: Dressrosa for Luffy being stronger than the Shichibukai and Wano for Luffy overtaking the New World Emperors. Even then, they’re not much longer than Water 7, with Dressrosa being 9 chapters longer than W7 and Wano being 10 longer than Dressrosa (130, 139, and 149 chapters). For perspective, just Egghead and Elbaf are already at 112, which will put this last saga on parity with Wano by the end of 2026, and will probably end up being around 175 chapters when the series ends in ‘27.Weren't Dressrosa and Wano so long because they were the culmination of several in-universe machinations, including internal politics in the countries in question?
In universe they gave Loki 3 minutes to tell his backstory. That it took 6 months IRL doesn't mean that Elbaf has actually been waiting that long.My guess is that it's explained that Luffy and the giants spending so much time arguing over Loki being chained is going to be described as the SHs overstaying their welcome once they see everything has gone to shit.
This has always been the low iq /a/ take that the series needs to full steam towards the main plot with disregard to how one actually constructs a story and anything else is considered “nothing.” Elbaf started in September of ‘24, which means we’re a year and some change into it, about 50 chapters. Of which, Oda has been resolving plot points he brought up over six years ago and moving backwards to ones brought up eight years ago. The goal is pretty clearly to establish a report between the reader and Loki on top of this. A lot has happened since they showed up.literal tour of the island plus backstory plus fight takes two years?
One Piece may see 2028, there’s zero chance it’s seeing 2030. You retards have no idea how much 200 chapters actually is.There's probably between five and seven years left.
Again, there was also all the parts where Luffy and the giants were arguing about Loki being chained, with the giants adamant that a Loki being let free would be the worst thing that can happen because Loki is this horrible person with destructive powers, and Luffy just going “lol no he’s not”.In universe they gave Loki 3 minutes to tell his backstory. That it took 6 months IRL doesn't mean that Elbaf has actually been waiting that long.
First off, I think trying to predict how much time is left is a waste of time because for all we know, Oda could just spend time on some random thing out of nowhere, along with his predictions not panning out IIRC.I think we're going to wrap up the backstory, fight the fight and be gone without too many new locations being revealed at this point. You're also way off if you think the series is ending in two years. They clearly have far too much to clear up between finding the One Piece, destroying the Red Line, fighting Shanks and the Marines, then the Holy Knights and Imu and possibly dealing with the moon/Lunarian stuff. There's probably between five and seven years left.
Unless the next island is the last stop its clearly going beyond 2027, your timeline is way off. We just spent six months in a two part flashback, you think they're wrapping everything up in only two years? Crazy talk. One Piece may see 2028, there’s zero chance it’s seeing 2030. You retards have no idea how much 200 chapters actually is.
dont forget blackbeard also has van augur and laffitte both of which could casually sneak onto the strawhats ship and steal the info of the final poneglyph and instantly send it over to blackbeard. especially if pizzaro moves hachinosu closer to lodestar.I could see BB having Avalo Pizzaro park Hachinosu either at Lodestar and/or Laughtale, technically grafting an additional "Pirate Island" arc onto Lodestar or Laughtale. If it was Dragon, wouldn’t we get some hint over that fact? Also, he’d just find a way to get it to Luffy once he found out once he learned Luffy was looking for The One Piece because reasons. Also, burn scar man was said to have an all black ship with whirlpools around it, which I don’t think Dragon has.as far as who burnscar is im torn between it being dragon or one of the former whitebeard pirates. i dont think it will be anyone from rocks crew unless the poneglyph was located in god valley and they happened to have stolen it.
Watch that underhanded tactic led to the payoff of Blackbeard not being the one Roger is waiting for.dont forget blackbeard also has van augur and laffitte both of which could casually sneak onto the strawhats ship and steal the info of the final poneglyph and instantly send it over to blackbeard. especially if pizzaro moves hachinosu closer to lodestar.
Solution to that: Lilly is schizo and Joy Boy did to her what Homer did to Frank Grimes and brain broke her big time that she started dressing like a Klansman and developed a severe and unwavering hatred for humanity and let's the Celestial Dragons do all sorts of bad shit, because their reign of terror keeps monsters like Joyboy from rising up again.
