If it was Dragon, wouldn’t we get some hint over that fact? Also, he’d just find a way to get it to Luffy once he found out once he learned Luffy was looking for The One Piece because reasons. Also, burn scar man was said to have an all black ship with whirlpools around it, which I don’t think Dragon has.
the reason i think it could be dragon is because of the ship actually. the day he saved luffy in loguetown there was that random storm that came out of nowhere. i think dragon caused that storm to save luffy and i think he did a similar thing to save sabo. i also think his face tattoo is the burn scar if not something else hidden on his back or whatever.

as far as the all black ship maybe its something he had kuma hide for him with his abilities that dragon will go and get when the time is right. in the end all i know is there is something more to dragon and if its not this its something else.

This has always been the low iq /a/ take that the series needs to full steam towards the main plot with disregard to how one actually constructs a story and anything else is considered “nothing.” Elbaf started in September of ‘24, which means we’re a year and some change into it, about 50 chapters. Of which, Oda has been resolving plot points he brought up over six years ago and moving backwards to ones brought up eight years ago. The goal is pretty clearly to establish a report between the reader and Loki on top of this. A lot has happened since they showed up.
*rapport

A lot has happened, but none of it is very interesting. Part of that is Oda not being able to tell a story anymore, and part of it is him not being able to draw anymore. Dressrosa is an interminable arc, but it does a good job of introducing and developing the characters before the big fight starts. I don't know anything about the giants because we've been speedrunning this arc to get to the flashback.

Second, after the flashback, we’re going to get either some fight to get some payoff over how Gaban talked about how to fight the God’s Knights, or we get the God’s Knights leaving Elbaf, feeling like they got all they wanted, and enough shit has been wrecked that they don’t have to worry about people in Elbaf learning forbidden knowledge. It’s all a matter of if Oda wants to have Luffy cross paths with the God’s Knights in a way that it doesn’t give up the endgame and how the bigger questions are answered.
Would be interesting if the payoff is Luffy being able to free Gunko from Imu's control.

What do you mean? He’s telling his story. Just not at the pace that some people want apparently.
part of it is him not being able to draw anymore.
What are you talking about? Sounds like you’re just being a hater for no reason, and I’m not even one of those Oda worshippers who thinks he’s one of the great storytellers in human history.

It sure would be. Although I have to wonder if Oda is going to make it where defeating Imu isn’t that simple.

No, its not being able to reread anything post Whole Cake Island because the art and story have become nonsensical.

For example, I literally just learned from watching the anime that the Vegapunk satellites are supposed to be dead. Because in the manga you see spare bodies and you hear them talking, so it seemed like they were reconstructed by Pythagoras. Nope. Those were actually just voices in his head.

Yes, they are software. They can converse like that. A.I. and stuff.

Report (with a silent t) is the French version, and the one I prefer.

because the art and story have become nonsensical.
Nigga the art has hardly been better and Loki’s story, even with the added revelations regarding Rocks, has been super intriguing. I honestly don’t think any panels have been more evocative than Loki climbing up the Yggdrasil, except maybe the last panel from this week’s chapter.

I know I was all on board for Yamato for tenth Straw Hat, but now I’m pushing Loki for tenth Straw Hat. Loki should be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. When Loki is not on-panel, other characters should be asking “Where’s Loki?”

For example, I literally just learned from watching the anime that the Vegapunk satellites are supposed to be dead. Because in the manga you see spare bodies and you hear them talking, so it seemed like they were reconstructed by Pythagoras. Nope. Those were actually just voices in his head.
I see, it’s a reading comprehension issue on your part that you’re taking out on Oda. Maybe you should head back to /a/.

I will never not be confounded by the Internet user’s inability to parse sequential art…

>doesn't read the manga
>is surprised when he doesn't understand what's going on
all the satellites synchronize their brains to punk records, which is vegapunk's brain, which was able to persist despite the death of vegapunk's body. as long as vegapunk's brain is alive, his data can always be accessed. lilith took a clone to download his brain into, once she has the tools to do it. the same can be done for the others.

It is always the people (read: tourists) that pay the least attention that complain about things not making sense.

oddly enough i dont think imu will be defeated in the traditional sense at least. but who knows i doubt it will be that simple though and given what happened to saturn i have to wonder if removing imus contract just causes gods knights to die as they are no longer immortal. gunko is pretty old for example so without imu making her immortal she might just turn to dust.

i could be wrong but i swear they covered this exact thing in the manga. they mention that as long as punk records survives vegapunk can just come back. also technically they are reconstructed but not fully yet. they currently are just using bits and pieces from each others bodies to form a working body to help them escape with punk records. they are still their own thing though.

If they want to do so because it seemed that Vegapunk thought the world wasn't quite ready for his genius.

Of course the first thing he did was contact other scientists so it seems pretty likely that Punk Records will be back for the end battle.

they mention that as long as punk records survives vegapunk can just come back.
It is almost as if he removed his brain and put it in a jar which is totally not a standard Sci Fi trope and you literally have to be purposefully obtuse to not understand how it works..

That sounds like what's going to happen, that or Punk Records will be the one talking about how significant things are when Luffy is just going around wrecking shit.
When i first read about Vegapunk launching Punk Records into the sky and Humanity not being ready for his stuff for another few hundred years I thought that he was gonna vanish from the plot because "People ain't ready for him" but apparently like...he just called up Weatharia and was like "Sup Sky Niggers...I am alive"

I mean, it makes sense for his hat to be fur but sorry, they use the same texture for his own fur and the hat, did he kill and skin the other reindeer that were bullying him?

Not that it matters, since I'm not watching shitty ass shoe-string budget western One Piece.
