Perhaps Imu has the Devil devil fruit. Maybe Domi Reversi doesn't turn someone into a demon, maybe it literally brings out the demon inside of someone. We also haven't seen it used on anyone who's eaten a devil fruit, I don't think. I'm thinking that if you've eaten a devil fruit, then the devil inside you is bound to your will. Otherwise, it is susceptible to Imu's will. Kill the demon inside, and the suppressed human self can return. If that's the case, it would elaborate on the phenomenon of an awakened zoan fruit's "will" overpowering whoever ate it.

if death breaks the curse why did rocks die?
It's not Rocks we should be asking about, it's the rest of his family-- they got reversi'd before he did, and he stood, fought, and massacred them. Why didn't this work for them like it did for him and the Giant Pirate captains...?

Make sense to introduce Brook, but I really hope he's not gonna be played by a negro.
So if Oda kept killing all his characters throughout his series, he couldn't have his big, autistic game of reversi with Luffy playing the white pieces and Imu playing the blacks.
I really hope next chapter gives us an explaination for whatever the fuck is going on, otherwise everyone is gonna call it the ultimate asspull
Althought, I find quite suspicious how the straw hats and giants are winning this easily, and I feel like something extremely bad is about to happen, soon enough.

so heres what im thinking. since domi reversi is something imu does by force you just have to kill the person to break control and return to normal. but if you make a contract willingly imu gets maximum control and the only way to get past that is to break the seal as we saw with shanks getting his arm taken off. which would explain why harald died. it also means rocks was technically killed twice.

also i had a feeling franky would be getting an upgrade so he is now as strong as a pacifista. i wonder if he will try and upgrade the sunny since it also runs on cola. seems like everybody is getting a moment but usopp. but maybe thats on purpose as a way to make him improve.

Is this like the cipher hunt?
Assuming you’re talking about Gravity Falls and what Alex Hirsch did, yes and no. Yes because folks on Twitter are talking about going out to find it, no because Oda isn’t encouraging them. Honestly, he probably doesn’t even know of the foreigners trying to find the chest meant to accompany a sales milestone.

Isn’t that kind of the point though in the sense that the Celestial Dragons see themselves as the greatest thing in the universe and have massive egos?
I know, I just still find the hype around how crazy powerful they were theorized to be funny in hindsight.

"Agenda Piece" is kinda funny at times.

Oh, right. I guess this means those under Domi Reversi have to either kill themselves or kill each other to undo the contract and survive.
But then, why did Rocks not fight against the Knights? He should have been healed. Unless he could not restore his stamina with the healing effect.

Broggy and Dory got Reversi'd while they were at full strength and didn't exactly have a lot of resistance. Rocks fought Garling, Saturn and Imu before he got reversed and then fought Garp and Roger.

does it? rocks seemed to be fine until garling killed him. it seems more likely death in general fixes it. the thing im wondering is does this effect imu at all? or is domi reversi just a quick simple thing imu can do with zero cost where as the contracts bind imu directly to said person.

i was thinking more and i dont think any of the gods knights are actually alive anymore aside from maybe shamrock. what i mean by this is that i think the highest level contract you can make with imu gives your entire life span/heart to imu and turns you into an empty puppet thats only goal in life is to serve imu.

the reason i think this means the gods knights are dead is because if we assume domi reversi is the absolute lowest base form of the ability imu has and it can be undone by killing the person being controlled then it would only make sense if the higher levels of the ability (contracts) slowly remove that flaw until you reach the highest one where you are essentially immortal because you have given your life to imu in exchange for maximum power.

this is why saint saturn died and why the elders seemed shocked when garling showed up in his place. imu removed the contract with saturn and instantly made a new one with garling. also the gods knights being able to be damaged with haki just further proves they are under the influence of a devil fruit power of some kind. since haki is the main thing aside from sea prism stone to get past devil fruit abilities.
