Ahhh, but you forget: Zach and Chris have talent and drive. With the non corpo way of getting funding/ getting your content out their they can survive being canceled. (And might gain some followers from it).

It totally is, it does become less relevant the older people are; but that relatively early in life people are at totally different stages of life. I don't think Veronica and Mark's relationship is immoral or anything like that, just that the age gap will likely bring unique challenges.

Yeah that’s exactly it. It’s perfectly legal and fine whatever but it’s the fact that he’s college age and she’s in her years of having a job in animation. That’s what I was saying before that typically the older partner is more likely to be stunted in maturity.

Yeah the age gap feels weird because Mark is a manchild and so is Veronica.
It also feels weird because she used to date someone her own age.

You don't have to have big Hollywood aspirations to get cancelled. Did you follow what happened with Milliondollarextreme? They were an obscure comedy group that after years of pitching shows got on Adult Swim only for people to dig up internet posts, claim they were alt-right and get it cancelled.

RE Veronica: The mental and emotional difference between a 20 and 28 year old is night and day. A 20 year old is still basically a kid in lots of ways.

Lately she's apparently cut smoking and drinking, at least what she's posted about on twitter. I don't blame her for keeping the aesthetic for her art but good for her if it's true.

I've heard of people who thought FOUR years was a "big age gap" and that was apparently back in the 80s so it's not like it's a new thing. Even with legitimately large age gaps between consenting adults (for a similar example, see Dan Avidan and his wife who I think have a 13 year difference), it largely comes down to a matter of the infantilization of adult women.
 
Chris has his wits about him, he would probably find the humor in this situation or just feel sorry for Veronica if anything at all. They're both their own people and they've both moved on. Doubt this is some ploy, or anything significant.
I also don't see the resemblance, Chris is much better looking than the new guy. A handsome potato he is and looks nothing like the other fellow. Chris today looks more like a lovely kind lad than anything else.
I'm just glad YIIK isn't canceled

I have noticed some people have a weird notion that people will mourn over their exes forever. If Chris and her were married, I could understand, but not when they were just dating.
