I really think DingDong just used that as an excuse to pull the stream down. Same thing happened with the restream tonight.

That sounds so fake. Name a single place outside of North Korea where people would care whether or not you attend a public movie showing. Sometimes paranoia makes you think people have motives they don't actually have.

I think you overestimate a weird patriotic group's ability to separate themselves from that mentality. I would argue most Hollywood war movies from the past were made entirely to babysit some patriots for two to three hours.

EDIT: Fucking Pearl Harbour. I guarantee you, a lot of times when that film came out, inbred hicks were saying "yew don't wanna watch perrl hawbur? then yew dont liek americuh"

DingDong always exaggerate the bad things happening to him and you should always take everything he says with a grain of salt. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole small southern village hates us narrative just exists because southern boomers have no idea how to handle two autistic furries.

Nobody liked Pearl Harbor. Especially not red necks.

American Sniper would be the better example for this I think, but even then you're really over blowing it.
