Also in other news, Tomar may be moving away from LA to be closer with family, something he announced on his stream. Will this year be the last year of Tomar in OneyPlays?

But yea Chris i think is a funny guy but i feel he's actively had to neuter himself for the sake of fitting in. He never fit in with the anti-SJWs, he was far too reasonable and comedic, not really settling on ownage and trying to be nuanced about it. Then Breadtube happened and like everything anti-SJW was retconned as evil jew hatred that made people vote Trump, so he had to sort of contort himself to fit in that space. It's a shame, he fits in with a Cumtown type audience not a Super Best Friends type audience

It probably does play better on the algorithm, and it is also the kind of stupid trick that would get literal children to tune in, since it doesn't suggest that you need to start at an earlier episode.

Frankly, if it makes them more money, they should do it. Some people say you should never make a career out of doing what you love, and these guys are in a good spot: they clearly don't love playing video games. If they can maximize the cash they make while minimizing the time and the effort they spend, they ultimately should.
 
the closest i've come to finding cory annoying lately is

1.) him using the phrase "double jump" 6 million times in the rogue legacy 2 vids
2.) during the tomb raider videos. this one isn't really fair, it's just that i love hearing chris and paddy tell stories of the old country

Cory is like a 10 year-old who thinks that everyone knows what he is talking about when he says he went home because the concept of people not knowing information is alien to him

. It’s why it’s frustrating to have him in any game where story is a big thing. He’ll talk over it because he assumes no one cares or they know it even if Chris or Zach as what’s going on.

I didn't mention Cory, it's the third person(new guy, I think?) that is being obnoxious and skipping cutscenes

Apparently, it's to be closer to his wife's family. Moving out of LA when you're raising children is a win either way.

Voice acting has evolved to the point where if you had a good setup you can do most of your recordings at home anyway. And if he didn't, NYC has a very active voice acting scene.
 
If I remember right Tomar is like a computer engineer (or something with computers), plus gets a cut of the oneyplays merch, plus has his streaming gig which probably gets donations. Even if he slows down on voice acting, he has income streams.

Honestly good on him for getting out of LA for family.
