He made the Bushworld Adventures April Fools prank short back during the peak of Rick and Morty's popularity along with a couple other shorts. Apprently he has another show called Koala Man that aired back in 2023, never knew about it. I'd assume he's been working with Adult Swim for awhile now similar to Marc M. of Sick Animations fame. In fact Yolo Crystal Fantasy is based on an animation of his back from 2012. It's safe to say without Michael's previous work with the company, we probably wouldn't of had Smiling Friends.

Of course I have to post Michael Cusack's Magnum Opus.

Nah it got cancelled thankfully, which was hilarious because before getting picked by AS the series used to be in Netflix where it also got cancelled.

I remember seeing it on Netflix after Bojack finished and thought i would give it a shot as it looked visually similar. I made it about 2 minutes into the first episode and shut it off. Complete shite.

God I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way, I made it halfway through before the headache overpowered me and I shut it off. It's literally just lolrandom shit happening over the blandest fucking sitcom you've ever watched
