I remember that anytime I would check into his streams he would always talk about how G4 was a propaganda tool used to convince teens to enroll by showing cool shooter games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare next to ads of US Army. I wouldn't be surprised if even in the infamous meltdown stream from 23rd December 2022 he talked about this for at least 30 minutes. Does anyone have the full archive of the stream? I remember DD promising he'll upload the full VOD so that everyone knows the whole context (of course he didn't do it), and now there's like only an hour of it available normally + a few longer scraps that can be accessed through wayback machine.

He's been taking a bit on bug fixes, but the game should have a public release soon. You guys put most blame on DingDong for the lack of releases even though it's obvious Julian is the major bottleneck. Remember how DingDong said that rhythm game was "basically complete"? What do you think was left to be done?

The original came out before AI exploded and I find it highly unlikely that they had access to AI generation software that's better than what's available now back in 2019-20 or so. They're a french CGI company that takes commissions, they've done cutscenes for some games like The Hunt as well and they literally have videos showing how they made the video I posted on their channel. It doesn't take much effort to actually look into shit before bitching about it like a dumbass, I promise.

I swear this thread is full of spoiled whiny entitled childish faggots who do nothing but complain and make up things to bitch about because they love being angry little soylords. It reminds me of the gamegrumps subreddit. Grow some self awareness and feel shame you cringey losers

I haven't played them, but aren't the CoD campaigns partially critical of the US army? I think the infamous "No Russian" scene of gunning down civilians doesn't do a good job at selling the myth of the American Hero. Then again, most people I knew at the time just played multiplayer/zombies, so maybe they just got the image of cool/fun combat.

Try seven years, especially when they probably haven't had any jobs or major responsibilities in that time. At least not to my knowledge. Gotta love the classic "If you don't agree with me, you're a child!" though.

Let's also not forget that DD&J took a pretty eventful roadtrip back in 2022. This was in LA by the way, so uh, pretty pricey. Who's money do you think they we're using to fund this? Not to mention the fact that they've stated multiple times before they regularly use DoorDash. Maybe it's not that they're struggling because they don't have enough money, it might be because they're financially inept.

Also, I should say, the 6k a month was just what I remember it saying a couple years ago before the exact amount they made was hidden. I was lowballing that estimate. It could very well be a lot more now.

It was 6k for years, then it dropped to 5k like, 2 years ago, I think. It was right before DD's last stream ever on the Internet that they hid it.

I also remember it spiking close to 7k right after his big breakdown stream because of the reception it got. I really do wish I could verify just how much they were making. But I swear by the Summer of 2023 it was around 7k.


I’m not sure about the accuracy of this website, given it’s not able to give an accurate monitary estimate. It’s an unofficial source and they don’t see the exact amount of money a creator is making. Just know, they are definitely making a lot more than the website is able to calculate. That’s why I’m going off the number of paid members.

You can see just off the amount of paid members, right after his breakdown stream of January 2023. Their Patreon had the largest amount of growth ever. Reaching their all time high of 488 paid members. So for a year, they were making more money than they ever have. Drama pays, huh?

Now in 2025 this has slowly tapered off into back where they were at in 2022, probably around 5k-6k. I assume this is why Ding Dong has began streaming again regularly, he wants to maintain his current paid members. And it’s working, they’ve gone up 12 paid members in the last couple of months.

None of this is 100% accurate, but it gives you a good estimate of how much they’re making on their Patreon. But I will say, in the last two years, they’ve been making more on their Patreon than ever. They are not strapped for cash, or rather, they shouldn’t be strapped for cash. 5k-7k each month over the past two years is not a difficult budget to plan around. You can easily live of that.

I don't watch DingDang's streams, they're far too whiny and boring and he deletes VODs, I can only get the gist from what people here in the thread clip/say, so correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he say the rhythm game was "almost complete," it was just missing music?

You know, music. The most important thing for a rhythm game. Something that Julian has said he has no experience in and can't help with.

Also, as a quick aside, I watched Node Armstrong's Shadman video with a friend who knows nothing about any of the Newgrounds guys, and he said that DingDong in those stream clips sounds a bit like ChrisChan, and now I can't unhear it.

That's pretty telling of the quality that it could trick me into thinking it's AI generated. Still, "give me money to make this fan film" is an actual scammer meme. Regardless, it still looks like dogshit and Nintendo or the Pokemon Company will C&D it sooner or later anyway.
