Guys, you can’t criticise the show, it’s supposed to be bad.

The shows badness goes beyond campiness Lyle. There are many more reasons surrounding it to hate it.

This is not the first time he’s been a contrarian moron. He also defended that awful reboot DMC: Devil May Cry in that games playthrough in the Oneyplays channel. So he does not entirely keep his shitty opinions to himself.

I like him 20% less now. He should delete Twitter before more fences comes out of his mouth.

Lyle is an oblivious retard. This has always been known. Fairly certain even he admits it.

I mean, he holds a somewhat positive opinion of the Saints Row reboot if I'm not mistaken. He didn't even really bother to cover the controversy or even look into what the fuck he was talking about. He goes off of whatever he hears first and maintains that stubborn opinion. Not that he's obligated to actually give a damn, but I'm gonna keep calling him a retard every time he opens his mouth about shit he doesn't know.

I remember him saying he only used twitter by tweeting out something but never looking at his feed. Though I've seen him reply to people a lot more in recent years so maybe the gayness of twitter started to get to him. I'm a huge Lyle stan but he's starting grind down my respect.

Saying something is supposed to be bad therefore its good is such a weird paradox to me.

Like, there's definitely a huge genre of movies/shows that are bad but are so bad they wrap around into being entertaining. Thing is though, every so bad its good movie wasn't made with the intention of it being bad. The Room, Ben and Arthur, Every Breen film etc were all made with the intention of being good but ended up being terrible due to any variety of factors (Poor writing, directing, low budget, completely inexperienced crew, arrogant film head) These films are earnest. Netflix Bebop is not earnest. It was a souless attempt to make some extra money using a pre-existing property that they skanked up with some current year bullshit (Poor Gren)

If netflix made bebop with the intention of it being bad, well, they succeeded for sure but that doesn't magically make it entertaining. It has literally no reason to exist. No stories were changed for the better. Multiple characters were changed for the worse and the original still exists and is better in every way. So there's no reason to engage with it. (Other than dropping a fat shit on it, of course)
