I want to be optimistic about this game actually improving to reach "pretty good" status. I don't know if that's going to happen, but it looks like they're putting a lot of work into it.
For a game I've never played and don't think it would actually be worth my time to play, I have quite a soft spot for ol' Yiik. If they can fix the combat I might even give it a try.

Optimistic is probably the best way to think of that update. Remember, the version Chris played was the version with the combat overhaul. As in, that version was the one with the better combat.

I mean, if the YIIK crew got an actual game designer to rework their systems and hired on an actual editor for the verbal drool that is the lead writer's issue of ruining interesting moments because he thinks he somehow has to add more detail to them - there's enough there to broach it into 'good enough.' Oh, well, if they got a programmer that understands how to use and free memory to avoid the obnoxious load times, that'd be good too.

maybe if they had all the rooms be in one map instead of having them in separate little worlds it would AT LEAST cut down on all the loading, god only knows that they'll actually follow through with that though

He almost got one years ago when he was still in philly. After the Sleepycast gang cleaned out the office and were moving stuff around stamper got pulled over one night speeding through a 35 zone while drunk as a skunk but caught the cop in a lie and was let go.

According to the current jail roster Stamper is still locked up.
