The boys have, imo, one of the most obnoxious and unfunny fanbses I've ever seen. It's full of the exact kind of people they routinely shit on. Hell on sleepy cast and even some older episodes, particularly DD&J ones, they'd openly mock the fans who just parrot the shit they say. And almost every single time they interact with fans it produces extreme cringe. The only times it didn't was when they'd do Q&A's for the podcast and thats because they could pick and choose which questions were worth answering.
 
I'm not really saying anything of substance here I'm basically power-levelling but I binge-listened to the entirety of Sleepy Cabin for the first time in the Christmas of 2023. I did it while browsing the web, playing PokéClicker and playing Pokémon White. The (good) brain rot I experienced when I ended up listening to all 6 hours of the Season 1 finale in one day is something I'll never forget. It felt bittersweet since I enjoyed it but knew it had ended and just that era of the internet as well as their lives is over.

I want to say something worthwhile so I enjoyed this interview with Niall.

Won't go into specifics for fear of powerleveling but around the time season 2 of Sleepycabin came out I got into an accident which left me nearly bed bound and in constant pain for 2 1/2 months and the podcast was one of the few things that kept me sane during that time. During those nights when I couldn't sleep because of the pain Sleepycabin kept me laughing when I felt so awful. It will always have a really special place in my heart.

I guess real talk, is everyone else just so busy that Chris can't get anyone else but Corey, Adam, and Lyle to film with anymore? I know Zach has his show and Tomar has his Kid and his career, but doesn't Corey live in a whole other state anyways? How is he able to film so much content for the channel?

I think they should try to get a couple more people to vary the content while Zach, and Tomar are busy. I'd be fine with Cory if his appearances were occasional, but prolonged exposure to him is painful. They could try to do more online multiplayer games in the mean time so they could have their friends, like JonTron who are far away join in.

They need to find another miserable faggot and a funny minority to do videos with. The Revolution 60 playthrough was kino even though Chris played frustratingly bad.

I think part of the Issue is that most OneyPlays guests are long term creators Chris has been friends with for a long time, and he's probably out of people he can drag along to film with. I can't imagine he'd go out and find new co-hosts so we are stuck with people he's been making content with for the better part of 2 decades.
 
Let's be real, they're too old and happy to play the role they used to anymore. Ding Dong still has some moments in his streams where he's miserable and I honestly enjoyed Julian's silly pumpkin carving stream. They were just trying too hard the last few playthroughs they did when they came back. I don't know if they were trying too hard to appear nice, to be funny, to act cute, or what. But it definetly didn't work. Hearing Ding Dong being so bubbly is nice, but it also doesn't have the same edge it did.
In a weird way I'm glad they're just being two happy homos making their games (sort of) and not spending their time doing the internet celebrity thing (also sort of), they earned it. I'd definetly be happy with Julian coming back once in a while though, Chris is just not up to doing the laugh track role anymore, and I enjoy the few times he's alone with Chris.
 
The other day I saw someone with Oney Plays pins on their bag and I considered mentioning it for a second, then I realized they would probably say the least funny impression of a good joke from Oney Plays I've ever heard, and decided to not talk to them. I've never had a YouTube channel that I actively do not want to engage with the average fan.
