My god man does Cory really need to be in every episode? Every episode yammering about nothing, talking over people, stepping on jokes. I'm so sick of it.

The logistics of Oneyplays is interesting to me because Cory does live elsewhere, so how often is he going to Burbank to film with Chris? Does Cory live close enough to Chris where they can just meet up semi-regularly, or is Cory making multiple cross-country trips yearly and recording 20+ hours of content each time? Most of the other regular cast (Zach, Tomar, Lyle) live either in Burbank or close enough where they can come over and record somewhat often, and I think Adam might actually be a roommate of Chris', but afaik Cory lives at least a state away.

My best guess is that maybe Cory has other reasons to be near Burbank so him popping by to record Oneyplays isn't as insane as it sounds. Otherwise Cory is literally doing multiple trips a year and recording dozens of hours of content for Oneyplays which just seems insane.

My original theory is that back when Cory originally returned (Sonic Heroes LP) he was only there for a few weeks so they just had him record a ton of clips and sent him on his merry way. That was 2 years ago I think? Nowadays though, that can't be the case because
1. There aren't enough hours in the day
2. That's kind of a scary thought, that the channels been essentially catatonic while Chris or whoever has been uploading months of ancient content.

But eitther way, he's over there recording a lot and I wonder if other people are starting to wonder what's up.

I think the "Why" is pretty easy to figure out, most of the other recurring cast is currently extremely busy.
-Zach of course has Smiling friends which only wrapped up production a few months ago, maybe late last year.
-Tomar has a kid now alongside his own career and game studio
-Lyle has his own channel and his own voice acting career too
Sure, Cory technically has his game he's working on, but Nightmare cops has been in dev hell for a decade or so now, isn't like its going anywhere.

Oh yeah 100% he's been back many times, They've mentioned shit that happened after his initial return to the channel (hell they even talked about him taking over the channel for a while too)
 
I'm pretty sure they backlog a lot of content. They schedule some time out to sit down and make some videos, then hand it off to the editors to portion out over the next couple of months. It's why they kind of censor themselves with recent events and why they're not playing the hottest new games right off release, barring a few exceptions.

Also I would not be surprised at all if Cory was offered a position on Oneyplays and it's basically his job now.

Either that or he is an Andy Kaufman tier character actor that can dupe hundreds of thousands of people into believing his weird retard act. My personal theory is that Chris feels bad for him because he's too stupid to hold down a real job (I mean how could he? He can't even read properly.) so he keeps him on the show out of charity.

I remember that lol. Chris tried to pass him off as his brother Bert. Yeah I don't fault anyone who finds Adam annoying for whatever reason though I like his retardation
