Speaking of being a fooken spa',
I went down a weird rabbit hole where I found this guy "Grandpa Curtis" on YouTube reviewing Smiling Friends, saying "SpazKid" recommended it to him. I thought, wait, is this Cory's dad? I looked him up and he's some kind of ex professional wrestler so I was like holy shit is this Cory's dad??? (Because I remembered Cory mentioning his dad was a bodybuilder)
And then I realized no he's just the father of another guy who calls himself SpazKid and they have some gaming channel together.
Him and Cory just happen to have incredibly similar origin stories.

That is the most Cory fucking coincidence I've ever heard.
 
Rewatching the Yiik playthrough and it's amazing how a game set in the 90s is so horrible at being 90s. They can't even get something as simple as the clothing down Alex Yiik is dressed up as a super stereotypical 2010s urbanite hipster with the big frame glasses, full beard, pop culture reference t-shirt and flannel. Why even set the game in the 90s if you aren't going to try and make it look like it?

This is not the thread for me to infodump autistically about YIIK but a lot of it has to do with reality being warped and Alex having unreliable, rosy memories of the past that do not match up with reality. I really think the whole "we're in le epic 90s but not actually at all and it's just because alex is a retarded larper and it's impacting reality" is a fun idea, but my legal counsel has advised me not to express such wrongthink as discourse about this game has been made impossible for all of time thanks to that one video.
