Are the conspiritards getting rampant after Chris confirmed the YIIK finale is cancelled?

I hope not because that would reduce the chance of even getting the unedited finale from 0.01% down to 0%. But it doesn't take a lot to make frustrations boil up as we all know.

I'll toss out that Chris ignored my donation message too but maybe the name I used was a little on the nose. I send that supposing that the project was still on the shelf without any conspiracy and sent him unrelated advice to help with back pain. Either he wasn't reading StreamLabs donations, or when he read Liam Walker's donation he answered for one reason or another.

Just looking up "YIIK Finale" on Twitter, apparently it's been a reoccurring thing popping into the comments section ever since - so the subject might be an actual annoyance to him given that it's muted on the subreddit too.

I could get muting DingDong because his lore dumps raise a lot of uncomfortable questions in general and he wants to disassociate, but muting YIIK is wild. That just gut punches anyone who earnestly wants to post about liking the game or Oneplays series too.

It happened a few months ago (maybe a year ago) but DD had a melt down, called a bunch of people fake and homophobic without naming names, announced he was cutting ties with everyone and he had always planned to leave Oneyplays after 2 years, bragged that "kiwifarms will never figure out who I'm talking about and every guess you make will be wrong," then directly shit on Matt Watson from SuperMega because he donated money at the start of the stream, then detailed his child abuse and ranted about some stalker in chat.

Cory will go on 4 hour-long rants about Amy's delicious quills and how they keep him up at night while Lyle will actually have stories and experiences, plus he tries to keep up - That story he told Chris and Tomar about the landlord's crazy ex, with a recording confirming she was a thrice removed Cherokee princess still gets me to this date.

I'll admit I have some bias as I was watching Lyle since insanity, but Cory's comedy, if it can be called, is literally just "Oh, oh, sex? Oh, sex! Sex!" ad nauseam.

Cory is hit and miss with his rants and rambles, but I think he works well as a punching bag and I guess I have a higher tolerance for autistic ramblings. Despite all his flaws, I think Cory has been a net positive to the channel. Lyle to me is just middle of the road on everything. Not as funny as Zach, not as good a straight man as Tomar, not as good a story teller as Dave, and not as good as a foil as Cory/Adam. He's just never struck me as that funny and at times comes off as a try hard.

And this kinda shit is why. Every issue with this dude just circles back around to everyone being fag hating meanie heads and how he had a cartoonishly abusive childhood. Like that time he claimed something to the effect of a teacher slammed his head against a wall and DD was forced to apologize for it on OneyPlays.

Or when he bitched about the super small, southern community they moved into not liking them because "homophobic". Even though DD&J essentially made zero effort to get to know anyone or involve themselves in the community to any degree by their own admission.

As much as I find Cory annoying nowadays I think I agree with this take. Overall Cory has made me laugh many more times then Lyle has. Some moments in Sleepycast he's made me tear up laughing. I cannot say the same about Lyle.

Ding Dong is genuinely funny. Julian not so much in the older ones but he's gotten funnier in the episodes where he and Ding Dong have returned.
