I have no idea if they left or came back or anything, I don't really pay attention to any letsplayers other than Oney, but I recall the drama was about the editor (or something) embezzling like 60k off of them, and them suing him. No clue what came out of it.

To add on what nick said first they had their editor steal money but then they shut down the channel for a while after allegations came up, it's a lot of bullshit but there's a thread about it here which covers everything

But as an update to the drama they did come back to youtube with a variety of content

Whether their content is better or not is to the eye of the beholder, but I guess it's more varied than their one or two LPs with political podcast episodes

To summarize what happened with Supermega: One of their thumbnail artists got accused of sexual assault which then blew up into a huge drama about how they attempted to cover it up (this turned out to be a lie) and it was a massive drama which resulted in them leaving the internet for half a year for their own mental health. It came out a few months after the drama began that it was basically a planned attack coordinated by a disgruntled former employee and ex-friend plus a few other people.

I hope they stop playing Pseudoregalia. The game is boring and their unwarranted glazing of it is annoying to listen to, nobody would give a single fuck about that game if the main character wasn't furry bait.

I think it was Chris, and yes, his mom got scammed by some neighbor kid or something and traded a console (Sega Genesis I think) and all the games he had, for a fucking Mighty Max toy.
