As shitty as it is, that kind of goes with the territory of being a Youtuber, or any type of "celebrity". That doesn't make alogs calling DingDong's family acceptable but it's kind of to be expected. Just fucking gay that this is probably the reason we'll never get the YIIK finale.

I'm with you there on the first part. I just don't get why so many people shill the ding dong-julian era of the channel so much. I only started watching the channel not too long ago, but from the videos of that time I have seen, they are inferior to what we have today. DD and Julian just aren't that funny, they are even more offtopic and pay less attention to the games than the modern crew, their off-topic tangents and improv are worse and the general quality of the videos itself seems to be inferior as well. What I mean by that last part is that by this point, Oney and crew know better how to produce and edit their videos and they end up flowing much better, the older era feels like a couple of guys literally just sitting down to play a few games and maybe shit on them for a bit. You can get gold like that, but I could literally do the same thing by calling up a few of my guys too, doesn't mean anyone will watch it or that it will be good. The older episodes are hit or miss is what I am trying to say, where as I find myself enjoying most of the modern episodes even if the games aren't that interesting.

DD himself said it on that golf stream but like you said he makes up weepy shit all the time about himself. Just rewatching it he makes insane claims like: people placing bets when he will kill himself, or some mysterious person saying it would be great if he killed himself so they could pin it on Arin. If you believed everything DD have said on stream then every person he have ever met who is not Julian hates him, he is the epitome of a histrionic gay man
