I was never a Cory defender. Since his rant on French Dips I hated him. Not that I disagreed with him per se, just that it was a stupid thing to be so passionate about.
Cory has always been incredibly hit or miss for me, and I've been following the channel since 2017. When he's got a tard wrangler (or he's the one playing) and it's a series that plays into his autism, like Sonic Heroes, it's great. But when he's left unwrangled, he's an obnoxious insufferable gooner. Just watch the Shantae, Fancy Pants Adventure, Poppy's Playtime, or Pseudoregalia playthroughs to see Cory at his absolute worst. Cory and (modern) Dave are a cursed combo, because they're both retarded gooners who egg each other on.
Them egging each other on leads to the funniest moments, though. That part in The Classroom, where they kept saying, "Ohhh, waiter, more Cory Delaminquez rape, please!" had me in tears.
