They want to get to the Ender Dragon this time and get Zach and maybe others to hop on the new server, born from the ashes of Ye Olde Weed Town.

This whole episode is just Chris trying to mentally torture Tomar. The fact he's now a father almost makes you feel bad for him until you remember that he was the one who suggested setting up brothels for the MKULTRA project

You should never feel bad for Tomar, especially after this episode. It really showcases just how selfish and self-centered he truly is. "I need to move my family across the country because I don't want my daughter to grow up in a disgusting crime-infested shithole!" Did he ever stop to think how this would affect Chris? Doesn't he understand that Chris NEEDS him to make money? I mean, without Tomar, how will OneyPlays get me to buy more pins and plushes? Absolutely vile decision to value your family's wellbeing above your friend's Let's Play Channel, and I'm glad he's finally being openly exposed for what he is.

Kind of old news I should have responded to when the video was posted a while back, but I only just watched DingDong's trailer for his new game. He has literally made the most basic done-to-death falling block match x game you can find 100s of on systems dating back to the NES, and 1000s of versions of mobile slop. The only thing with any kind of uniqueness is the circling mechanic, but that isn't nearly enough. It's like baby's first game in terms of complexity for someone who is suppose to have 10+ years of dev experience, but it's much bleaker in terms of creativity/personality of which it has basically none. In a world where solo and very small teams of indie devs are making extremely novel games in terms of gameplay mechanics and presentation, DingDong really comes off as bland and devoid of any ideas or inspiration. I think I see why he hates the legacy of OneyPlays so much now, his entire life is owned to the nepotism of it and I think he knows all to well he could not have made it anywhere without it. He wants to be a Pizza Tower, Balatro, Lethal Company or even Nubby's Number Factory creator but dosen't have the drive, creativity or talent to do so - he'll never be able to break away from "OneyPlays guy" because he simply lacks the personal merit in his own endeavors.

Dingdong is very self-defeating. His streams would be good, light hearted, but then he just shifts to being a super negative person. I've noticed the chat tries to keep him in a happy mode by endlessly talking about old cartoons, or pop culture

If I recall correct, it was something he made to be quick, as opposed to his perpetual dev-hell projects. As someone who's clearly depressed, it was good for him to just pop something creative out. You're getting a little melodramatic.

I will say this in his defense. Dominoid isn't supposed to be a big thing. It was a pretty basic idea he came up with and was working with for only a couple months I think? It's why it's free, he's said he just wanted to get something out for people to chew on. Though according to Ding Dong in his stream today, it actually had the opposite effect. A lot of people dropped the Patreon after Dominoid released. Which isn't surprising. Most people are probably thinking: "What is this block falling puzzle that suddenly just showed up. This isn't what I was paying for. Where's Blippy?"

Though I see where you're coming from because it's true. They basically have nothing show for around ten years of development. Trigger Treat is supposed to come out this year but... :optimistic:. I have very little faith in them overall.

But hey at least Dominoid is free. He also said he's been updating the Summer Resort game, which I haven't varified, but apprently there's some sidequest stuff. So there's at least work being done which is good for someone like Ding Dong who struggles to finalize projects and is usually in a constant loop of perfection. I really do hope to see more from them, I want to play Blippy, I want to play Trigger Treat, because they look fun and I know I'd like them. But I don't know if any of there games will ever reach a point of being huge like a Pizza Tower and Balatro.

There's the Dominoid link if anyone wants it. There's a name your price but you don't have to pay anything for it. It's okay, I wouldn't play it over a Tetris or Poyo Poyo, frankly.

I see where you're coming from, and I'd agree if this was some short term thing, a couple years maybe, but it's not - it's been all his post-OneyPlays "career". Finishing something is good for him, sure, but I don't think he'll ever finished the stuff he's been actually payed a living wage by people online for nearly a decade that they actually wanted and getting sidetracked doesn't help. I will gladly eat my fucking words if the time comes, but I don't think it will. My point about him living a sheltered life that is resting 100% on the cushion of OneyPlays is one I will never budge from though, without that exposure he would have actually had to face the reality of not having paypigs to cover for his lifestyle who get next to nothing in return for their contributions, he is more e-celeb than dev despite how much he wants to push against this. If he wasn't stubborn and whiny about accepting this he'd probably be way more likeable.

can't be the only one who thinks tomar and lyle DO NOT fit in with any other person on oneyplays.

Jokes on tomar anyway. We all know the only way you can possibly have a job in entertainment as an animator or voice actor is to live in LA. What a fool. He's been had.
