Like most things the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. He usually acts outright uninterested in recording for a letsplay channel and I get the impression that DingDong and Julian were Chris's friend over everyone else's friend - so they might not be compelled to reach out. But at the same time when the chatter asked him if he'd record again, he gave it some thought before the "probably not".

The two of them did visit LA in 2023 which is when they recorded the Halloween shopping shown in their event last year, but no recording session. As for what can be gotten in the way of, he's a contract programmer so that doesn't have a set schedule typically. Any time parameters are pretty vague though as he'll only make passive mentions of work and doesn't' want to bring attention to what he's contracted for.

You're right though if they really wanted another recording session to happen, it could happen. But going off the Oneystays session it's Chris who will have to travel to DingDong during a free 2 weeks while having his back problems.

I still like Julian and DingDong, I just can't sit through a 14 hour stream where he hangs out on the menu screen and complains. I used to watch old archives of streams DD did with Best Gamers and random Newgrounds guys. There's a chill stream of him with Zach and Corey from like 12 years ago that's pretty fun.

I'm a sucker for shitty licensed games and amateur projects and that's what a lot of DingDong's old streams featured.

He's getting better about that at least. He streams with Julian instead of solo a lot more often which anchors him to not start going off, and he whips out a shitty licensed PS1 game here and there. He did a Flintstones bowling a few weeks ago which was a hoot, and then did the Xbox arcade War of the Worlds game that wore out his patience of all people.

It's not that Chris got the barbussy in itself that makes him a showman, it's that he did what was seemingly impossible: get some china with a woman that wasn't a prostitute. He broke the paradigm.

For Cory to break the paradigm, he'd have to go a day without a masturbating. I hate that they're this way DD/Julian were quite funny and I can only imagine the grand majority of the fans still hold both of them in a good light. I think they're missing out on a lot of good faith people who would support them more if they came back even for just one game. They're obviously creative and have some of that old NG vibe. Fag made a whole browser game in anticipation of a stream event he had they're obviously talented.

Julian is somewhat of a mystery to me, he only laughs and repeats and asks really stupid questions without any real comedic backthought, i guess he comes "aa a extra" to Dingdong who atleast can jive with Oney.

If somebody wants to prove me wrong, be my guest, there are great episodes with DD & J, but i cant for the life of me remember Julian actually being funny.

For the most part his role is being fairly quiet, relatable when story times come up, and being the target of Chris and DingDong trying to make him giggle uncontrollably which was always fun whenever it came up. My favorite giggle fit.

Early on him being a gay furry would pop up every now and then for some laughs, or he interjects shit like this and it leads to a whole bit.

Not on Chris's channel, but on Doodle Doods the steady build up for what Julian cooked up is fantastic.

Julian also blurted out the brilliant name of Shapiphany during the heated Hypothetical Girlfriend debacle. It was also priceless how when DingDong and Matt were both against Chris, Chris in a fit of desperation asked for Julian who was quiet the whole time to back him up.
