He's a lovely guy, it's just after everything...I’m glad. I miss his nonsensical cooking vids that actually turn out to be some nice food.
It takes a toll on him mentally, you dig?
I love the guy though. Good friend.

Okay, I know this is old, but I must have missed this post the first time, because holy fuck, the devs keep making themselves out to be bigger and bigger assholes.I actually found something interesting while scrolling through the dev's twitter feed looking for info on the I.V update and it's regarding the Eliza Lam tie in.
It seems like someone was bitching about them giving Sammy (or Semi because Allanson himself doesn't know what her fucking name is) the water element because Eliza Lam died
in a water tower and they were offended (big surprise from Twitter retards).
In response they released this message:

This is just blatant lies from Allanson:
1) Sammy is clearly a reference to Lam, the elevator footage for one, along with them directly referencing a water tower where people started complaining about foul tasting
water a week after Semi went missing.
2) How the fuck is she a figment of Alex's imagination when other character's directly reference her and they have the footage uploaded to ONISM??? The cat is clearly
real too, he just imagined an owner for it? Not to mention the robot bitch says that Sammy is one of her incarnations or whatever. "When Semi left your reality, I entered."
3) The search for Sammy has such little relevance on the actual main plot of the game; it's only there to get the ball rolling which is fine, but the universe is fated to be destroyed by
Alex because he's such an asshole, not because he took the search for Sammy too far.
4) Also lol at expecting anyone to play though this pile of garbage a second time.
I think it's perfectly acceptable to reference real life events, although the way they did it in YIIK is weird af, but statements like this just evaporate any good will
I have for the dev, which was none to begin with, but still.
Lyle and DD especially have a backlog of some of the most obscure shit ever that they know every little detail about. Always a treat when they do one of these.Really love it when they play these sorts of obscure old fan games, like Yoshi Dead and Loving It. This is all clearly stuff he played growing up, so it's cool seeing them cover this weird period of the internet. I like the classic trio a lot in general but a lot of the appeal is Ding Dong just picking out really obscure/weird games to play that get a lot of reactions out of the boys

Give more YIIK or we will shriek!Give us more alex yiik or we riot!
i want them to play more shitty rpgmaker games, their creepypasta land 2 LP was fucking amazing.https://youtube.com/watch?v=vi1eNrz6aggChris, DD and J check out a very legit Pokémon game.
Nah we need the next group stuff to be Corey, Jeff and Dave.I was thinking, we've been getting new videos with Ding Dong and Julian for nearly 5 months. The fact that they've been able to stretch Chris's trip this long means that if they wanted, they could probably be permanent guests with two trips a year. Obviously if they don't want to do that that's totally understandable, and I appreciate the unexpected boon of videos featuring them, but it could be a workable way for DD&J to make money while Oney diversifies his content a bit.
