I was thinking: since Eli has been trying to set up dates with girls back home, maybe he's already returned home and he and Jace just don't want to admit failure?
Do we have any proof Eli is still over in Israel?
Guess what's going to be a hot topic in the next livestream...especially since, y'know, the latest firefight is over.

He can't possibly be still over there.

That's what the logical part of my brain keeps telling the part that's in it only for the lulz.

It makes a lot of sense that Jace doesn't know what MIA means given what little we know of Eli's situation. What the fuck is going on with him at this point?

I really want to know what is happening with Eli at this point. It's been way too long and I don't think he's Israel anymore... I want to believe he still is though (:_(
I assume Eli went to Israel (it would be a damned good hoax, otherwise) and has returned. Eli's folks/minders, mortified by his little adventure, are now monitoring his online activities, hoping to keep him away from Jace. Jace is tight-lipped for obvious reasons.

I still think it's funny to believe that he is still there. Eli did say he was going to regret missing the release of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare while on this mission, after all.

But everyone knows rescuing a dead rapper from an active conflict zone is more important. Especially when an XBox One is involved.

According to Jace in the latest Vlog Eli is still in Israel. I don't know how long Tupac can hold out in the rap bunker, the Deagle Nation is dragging its feet.
I think I heard that Tyce said Eli did return to the States....

I don't know what to believe.. *sigh*

But if Tyce says something, I find it more believable when Jace says something.

Thats what it sounded like he said in the latest VLOGtember update when they're at the store. But I was p drunk when I watched it, so I may have misheard it.
I got that impression as well. 03:10 or so - Tyce wants to buy some crap and have a "shootout" with Eli, Jace reminds him Eli is in Israel, Tyce looks annoyed. Perhaps Tyce was showing irritation that they have to keep up the pretense on camera, although of course he could be annoyed that he forgot where Eli was and Jace corrected him...

Tyce was annoyed he forgot and Jace corrected him. Eli is still in Israel. Jace and Tyce just don't really think about it that much because they don't have to. As long as Eli has enough to live off in Tel Aviv then it's not that much of an issue. This probably won't end until Eli's parents find out where he is and get him out of there. If that were to happen then it most likely would get Jace in trouble but how much is hard to say since, you know, Gail.

Welp, if Dickless Eli went as a tourist he's got a three month maximum on his visa. Since this Tupacle started around June 20th, I guess he's got another, what, 38 days or so? Eventually he'll have to renew his visa if he wants to keep looking for Hamas' secret rap bunker.

He doesn't *have* to, he'll just be an undocumented/illegal* alien. Worst that'll happen is they deport him if he gets pulled by a cop for any reason, which would probably happen if he's on a valid visa anyway.

And no-one ever checks your visa expiry when you leave a country - been there and done that twice myself, even post-9/11 they simply tore out the visa and didn't look at it.

* There are actually differences in the US at least between being out-of-status (undocumented) and being an illegal alien; being out of status can, usually, be fixed given the right paperwork / money, but being illegal is a deport + 10yr ban - but being banned from israel probably isn't high on Eli's 'give-a-shit-about'ness scale anyway.

And then when Eli can't go anymore, Jace will attempt to go again himself, hoping that Robert won't find out. How do you get banned from Israel, anyway? It can't be that hard, even for a guy like Eli. Of course, seeing the futility of this mission, he might as well ask to be returned to his home country at this point. Unless he hasn't figured it out already.
