What are the Oscars anymore? Who cares. There should only be one and it lives in a can.

I gave up after they made the best pic nominations 10 choices, that's ridiculous. At that point it's almost a participation trophy. I just want Oppenheimer to do well and for Will Smith to beat the hell out of everyone.I haven’t watched it in 3 years. The choices were always political a little bit but as rule, best picture got best picture. Now it is a joke.
I invite everyone to watch the nominations for best picture from 1969 through to 1982 and tell me straight faced that a good year in that period (nominations; not just winners) didn’t equal all the best films made in the last decade.
Will Smith sucks, and Oppenheimer is well overrated. IMOI gave up after they made the best pic nominations 10 choices, that's ridiculous. At that point it's almost a participation trophy. I just want Oppenheimer to do well and for Will Smith to beat the hell out of everyone.
I almost watched that movie last night with my relatives. I think I might have dodged a bullet, I may watch it on my own sometime to see how shitty it is.Don’t care about the Oscars but I will say if “Poor Things” wins big, it’s just Pedowood going full mask-off with their noncery (not that we needed any more proof of that).
Reminds me of ‘Mother!” back in 2017. My folks wanted to see it with the family because it was something about a creepy old house being remodeled. Dodged that bullet.I almost watched that movie last with my relatives. I think I might have dodged a bullet, I may watch it on my own sometime to see how shitty it is.
Booooo! Where's my Godzilla: Minus One?!Best International Film: Zone of Interest
That’s why The Iron Claw probably didn’t get nominated. All-white cast.I haven’t watched it in 3 years. The choices were always political a little bit but as rule, best picture got best picture. Now it is a joke.

It’s a ghost of what it once was; and now if you don’t have a mix of races you aren’t even allowed to be nominated
Haven't seen it but I'm just glad that Disny's feature-length heartburn commercial didn't win.Best Animated Feature Film: The Boy And The Heron
