OSRS / Old School Runescape - Medieval Cookie Clicker

The commentary team did an awful job showcasing it, it's chaotic sure but their commentary was terrible "look at... woah... something.... uh...." and so was the spectator work.
Honestly I clicked the main stream for about three minutes before just going to watch individual creators; really didn't care for the commentary. Agree with the underwhelming part; but I'm fairly new (only began playing in May 2025)) so maybe its always this chaotic. I'm curious how the in-person event in Chicago will be.
So in the sense for real content being released this year we’re getting a GM quest (maybe 2, maybe raids 4 will have a good quest to be able to join) and raids 4
Wait you're telling me the cow cosmetics aren't real content

This is a game I love to hate. I don't think I've ever actually enjoyed actively playing this game but somehow I made an iron and ran all the way through CG.

Now that all the doors are finally open I feel less motivated to play than ever
You might just need to cancel your subscription and stop playing for a while if you really can't find any motivation. Keep your account though, maybe create a new password (write it down!) and add more security measures before you leave, ones you are confident won't fail, be forgotten or lock you out after a couple of years (though in my experience Jagex are forthcoming about recovering otherwise lost accounts if you can recall a couple of obscure details about the account's history, password and username changes, payment methods etc.).
It'd be an awful shame to let a late game account with so much time put in to it get lost, especially if some day you do decide to come back and play again.

Favorite things to do in OSRS while reading threads on the farms? Yesterday I had my screen split in half woodcutting on the right - lolcow thread on the left. Made me wonder if (or what)) others do both at the same time.

You could probably feasibly do most skilling activities like fishing or woodcutting. Combat wise you could just afk the gemstone crab. Certain slayer tasks I'm sure could be done

Afk slayer tasks and usually fishing for sharks for me at the fishing guild. I need to do ds2 for the super convenient bank and range. Less clicks than Hosidius cooking.

thanks for the gz boys, it's gonna be a first time max. Probably next month, gonna be my infernal max cape of my dreams. I'll just drop my in game world and location when it's time and I'll make us some home cooked pizzas and my demon butler said he'll get us some beer too

Can this max be achieved on f2p servers? If so, I'll stop by.

Thread should have confetti for it. Null's an ex-scaper he will understand.

Right now salvaging or woodcutting, the main goal is eventually maxing so any afk exp is good, though 99 wc and sailing are next in my sight.

I actually canceled the membership the day before you posted. At least whenever I finally pick it up I'll be at a real good jumping off point. Get bandos armor, zammy spear, zenytes, lots of good shit.

Really depends on which skill I care about in the moment. Pretty much any option where you don't have to click more than once a minute are things I afk with when reading or watching something else. For my personal favorite methods:

Slayer/Combat: anything cannonable really. Just switch on auto-retaliate and bring something tanky with bonecrusher necklace or ash sanctifier. Ideally in catacombs for ancient shards.

Magic: plank make or superglass make

Runecraft: either ZMI with daeyalt or fake blood altar

Thieving: pickpocketing vyres or elves

Herblore: any normal potion with the reagent pouch to hold secondaries

Crafting: glassblowing or attaching orbs to staves

Fletching: unstrung bows

Hunter: birdhouse runs

Mining: shooting stars, amethysts, or daeyalt shards

Smithing: dart tips

Fishing: sharks or dark crabs

Cooking: fish at hosidius

Firemaking: forester fires

Woodcutting: forestry magic or any of the new hardwoods added with sailing

Farming: herb runs

Sailing: salvaging

RC or slayer if I get a melee task.

I've only recently recovered my old main on RS3 for the same reasons that with base 80 skills it has access to almost everything in the game, so much content that many players will never even get to touch. Even though I don't play RS3 anymore I want to reserve that privilege for if that ever changes. I can immediately jump back in, do whatever I want and try any new thing without the thousands of hours of grinding.
