Imagine if that $30 million went into making Georgia a better place. Replacing infrastructure, updating schools, providing shelter, food and employment services for the homeless. Just an idiotic amount of money to throw away on a meaningless political campaign that you didn't even win.

It's almost like spending a decade spitting in the faces of union members and the working class in order to pander to wealthy celebrities and illegal immigrants was a bad idea or something.
 
I knew, the moment that I spent five minutes watching news today after coming home and seeing this stupid spec. election being covered heavily (despite being states away) and that it was "neck and neck" that Ossoff was gonna lose. They told me the district's trend and I knew their polls were full of more shit than a street in Mumbai. Nice to see I called their fucking bluff.

I am amazed and disgusted they pulled a Jeb, wait I mean Hillary 2.0 with this waste. I reckon that 30m would've been good to say fix roads, gentrify Detroit, set up welfare, put into business opportunities, pay for our schools, or hell just burn in front of the homeless come December for warmth.

People don't want smug celebrity assholes from New York and California calling them racists and telling them it's their fault they can't find a job. It baffles me that after Trump the Democratic party still thinks this is a winning strategy.

I can not wait until Ed Gillespie wins in the Virginia Governor race this November. Rates self:optimistic: Because if a simple House race triggers them this hard I can only imagine the salt mine a statewide loss would bring about. The New Jersey Governor race making it 50/50 aside.

Every day my prediction the Republicans will be able to amend the constitution by 2020 grows more and more likely. Too many Democrats are completely incapable of admitting their party has lost the plot and needs to be replaced instead of simply screeching about Trump.

Virginia has basically become the California of the East Coast. Most of the state votes Republican but has such a stupidly low voter turnout combined with population dropping in the southern areas while rising around DC that all it takes is some of the NoVA area around DC to vote and turn the state blue every election.

Also this special election was pretty pointless in terms of importance. The only reason people care is because Democrats pumped a shit ton of money into it in hopes of turning one district blue in what is considered solid red territory the deep south. The MSM then hyped it up to be some referendum on Trump and that it would totally go blue and show things to come, that Trump is universally hated by everyone and the #resistance won and will sweep the U.S. in 2018. Ultimately it was to be revenge for Trump flipping Democrat states to Republican in 2016.

The only people that ate this shit up were your typical #resistors and tumblr-tards who live in their bubbles of delusion.

Sally Kohn of CNN (discount Maddow) says that this election means the Democrats should move further left and abandon centrism all together. I think this woman should be the head of the DNC to save Republicans money in elections.
