Overwatch

As far as I am aware, Slicers don't have a headshot box. I've used Reaper and Hog on them and never got a critical hitmarker. However, I noticed that Reaper can absolutely shred them once he gets in close, and Death Blossom is hilariously useful against everything except a shielded Eradicator.

My runs as Reaper indicated that his ideal role is to keep enemies away from the payload. His hunter-killer role in PvP doesnt seem to apply since his targets have either absurd health or a barrier that can stop his attacks dead. He would probably pair well with D.va.

Edit: give me a little while to finish up some quests in SWTOR and I'll jump back into Uprising to test a team comp.

Edit 2: Did ten matches with Reaper, then ten more with Pharah. Reaper is much more useful if another crowd control hero is in play. Pharah fills the hunter-killer role and the crowd control nicely though, so I'd happily say she's a must pick. The flip side is that a competent healer is a necessity for any team involving Pharah.

It baffles me how frequently people leave in Uprising. We'll be doing just fine and then at least one team member bails on us (though it's usually two for some bizarre reason). I've only played up to hard mode so far, so if the difficulty is tilting other players that much, I don't know why they even bother.

Also Junkrat and Hanzo really need to stop getting picked, they practically guarantee that you're gonna lose.

Jumping back in for the first time since the holidays for the lore event.

Orisa is fun as hell for arcade.

I hope they patch in pre-Reaper voice for Blackwatch Reyes. Probably wouldn't make sense when the voicelines will be the same regardless of the skin used but whatever.

So far I opened 26 boxes and I still don't have either Tracer's or Mercy's Uprising skins. I did get Torb's however.

The new mode is very enjoyable, especially with all of the new dialogue (Reyes's golden voice is a 10/10). I only ever played on normal mode.

Made rank 101 last night. Still don't have any event skins other than Widow's. Getting really tired of grinding at this point but I'm not buying an event skin (only got enough gold for one legendary) until the end for obvious reasons.

But now I'm torn between Mercy and Orisa's alt skins. Both look amazing.
 
anyone tried the hardest mode?
I did and won, but it's extremely limited. You can only use rein/mercy/bastion/orisa and have to stay in certain positions to win. It's not very gratifying
Symm is tricky to use but she works fine in hard mode, and she's a ton of fun
 
I want my goddamn Mercy skin! I have gotten four boxes and they are full of shitty skins that I don't want have, or sprays.

I'm 99% sure the skin is a Zootopia reference, but the baseline I've seen is that Tumblr posits that all cops everywhere are evil racist jackboots who just want to shoot dindus in the face for no reason. So clearly Blizzard is the KKK for making a skin of a police uniform that no one is forced to use.

It's basically Blizzard's version of the League of Legends format. You MUST have a friend on Battle.Net in your party in a PVP game but you do NOT have to WIN. Five games a week is piss easy to do in under an hour, so as long as you can get a friend, it's well worth it.

That said, the salt this skin could generate now only makes me want it more, maybe even play D.Va more, too. Her modified MEKA suit for the police theme actually looks kinda 90's future cop car to me.
