The industry is full of morons with loud voices so people for some reason defend faceless companies that don't care about them that fling partially created products to them. Even if OW2 is free they shutdown the first game for what is a glorified update to the point where i wanted them to actually charge money for it so people can be more angry because they should.
A bit late to respond for this but i notice this way more in this game than OW1. Mid OW1 people kind of knew what they were doing and part of this is because the 6th player can pick up the slack if a mouthbreather is on the team. Multiple people hear have pointed this out that the 5v5 only made the game worse because it is not making people who need to play the game play the game instead of hoping the other players pick them up while they sheepishly stay in the background. Push accentuates every problem in the game right now because most people who play this game let's be fair don't have a clue what they are doing and Blizz made a mode where people need to cooperate or at least kill shit otherwise prepare for the constant steamrollsI don't know if I'm just having bad luck or the game just became imbalanced because there's a greater mix of people who never stopped playing with a smaller pool of newbs or people who quit early on in the game's life. I'd say at least 70% of my games, it's obvious one team is far more familiar with how shit works compared to the other, and the only time a game goes down to the wire; it's because both teams are so fucking incompetent the game eventually calls a winner. But it feels like it's back in 2016 with the amount of do nothing Genji and Hanzos I'm seeing, the Lucio's who won't turn their HP aura on, and an overall meekness in groups who don't want to be aggressive and push, even on a payload mission that needs to move or if someone uses their ult and breaks the enemy line... no one fucking pushes.
