So, here's something interesting.

Basically, going by pick rates in high level competitive play, McCree and Lucio actually go over 100%, i.e. on average across all games, you're bound to see at least one McCree and Lucio. On the complete other end of the spectrum, characters like Mei and Roadhog, which are generally considered pubstompers, are picked less than five percent of the time.

This makes sense. McCree, provided his cooldowns are up, can nuke down anyone in the game to the degree where they're considering nerfs (to which I agree - he's a counter for Tracer/Genji/Reaper, not for tanks, so he shouldn't be flash>fan>roll>fan'ning tanks). On top of that, he provides semi-consistent mid-to-long-range DPS as well.

this isn't even a joke.*sigh*

Finished my new PC, went from getting sub-30 fps (I was getting a consistent 30-45 during the beta) on low to a solid, v-sync'd 60 on max. I'm so pumped. Just being able to actually see everything that's going on has allowed me to perform infinitely better, and to play heroes that I wouldn't have even considered with a shit framerate.

People are that bad at the game already that videos like this are actually a thing:

Still hyped to watch idiots ignore good team-comps, all run solo, die and rage.

Honestly, they should enforce a hero/type limit in matches so people stop doing stupid shit like picking two hanzos or widowmakers.

Many older games do that for this exact reason- you can't pick doubles in proper games of League or DoTA, to prevent people all going one hero/class like tards.

Quick Play is meant to be the "casual/unranked" equivalent mode. I wouldn't be too quick to worry about it until we see what they decide to do with Competitive.

I'd play this, but have no doubt that I'd be absolutely terrible at it.

Its not that hard, you have to be DSP levels of terrible to at least be decent, but first is ALWAYS recommended to learn the wiki and train with all the heroes

Gotta love China in trying to make their knock-off of another popular game. One can only laugh upon seeing a couple of the character models (Tracer and Widowmaker). The Widowmaker knockoff shows they weren't even trying in making a knock-off.
And yet Blizzard's legal team is slapping artists with C&D orders. :story:
