Overwatch

How come every Roadhog player I meet is a dick on competitive? Mostly on my team. Seriously, we don't need two tanks, and he or she is verbally abusing the one lone healer we have. If I switch to properly compose this team they paint me as the idiot playing defense to an attack team. It's like they don't know how to play the game. I guess competitive really separated the wheat from the chaff.

Unless my memory is bad, 2 tanks with Lucio and another support is the current meta.

Symmetra, Hanzo and Soldier 76 really got the bottom of the barrel in regards to the Halloween skins. Witch Mercy and Junkenstein are my favorites.

This Halloween event is a lot of fun so far!

I haven't gotten anything good out of the loot boxes yet but I won't stop until I get Junkentein. That shit's the coolest skin ever and I'm never taking it off.

The vampire Symmetra skin discourse on tumblr is a hilarious shit show too. Thanks Blizzard.

I think the costume is cute, her turrets are little eyeballs now I think? What's not to love?
 
I'm happy I have my Junkenstein any other skins, sprays ect ect are just extra at this point.

From what I've seen it's more a matter of how hers is so lazily done compared to some of the others. Aside from the bat pattern on her stockings and her skin being pale there's nothing to suggest she's supposed to be a vampire. Someone even made a redesign that puts Blizzard's to shame. But like I said Symmetra's not the only one who simply got a palette swap, I think people are just pissed about her in particular because she's one of the most underappreciated characters and has got quite a large following on Tumblr. And even then, to be fair, the main focus was on the characters who appear in the Junkenstein comic.

The whitewashing argument is as stupid as always. Vampires are pale, so they made her pale. Either way it's not a big deal and Tumblr is just being Tumblr.

The brawl is so much fun, I've never had this much fun with a brawl tbh. They really went out for this Halloween thing. I also can agree it's symmetra getting the bottom of the barrel with her costume, coulda did better tbh.

I hope they have more ideas for these Co-Op brawls. I loved MvM in TF2 but I feel like the gameplay of OW just WORKS better. Ults and all that jazz.

They put some effort into this mode with the narration by Reinhardt and the little story behind the mode. I also love how you have to put the abilities of the four selected characters to effective use, like Ana and 76's healing abilities. I'd like to see this mode pop up every now and then with a different theme, story, and characters.

On a side note, I went on ahead and shelled out some money to get loot boxes, and I managed to get the witch alt for Mercy, more costumes n' shit, and plenty of gold! Bless you RNGesus! I normally don't do microtransactions, but for a game like this, I'm okay with it every once and a while.
