Overwatch

And the usual special snowflakes are comparing her color scheme to the bisexual pride flag along with "coincidence?"
I'm getting mad pandering vibes from Sombra.
Like I want to love her for her character but I know that Tumblrinas are creaming themselves over her because she's a 'Woman of Colour' who is 'obviously queer' and I can't wait to hear all the self diagnosed mental disabilities and extra granderwierd things they're gonna slap onto her as a 'headcanon'.
And she also has that ugly unblended eyeshadow thing Tumblr has decided was the new fashion.
To be fair, the tumblr tards took the statement of 'one of these characters are gay' as UGUU THEY'RE ALL GAYYYY GONNA TOUCH MY GIRL DICK MMM CUMMIES! so not much will change in that field at all. Just another face to ship-sperg over. And hell, she has a fun personality and not even remotely as obnoxious as Tracer is. I got a chuckle out of her fuckin with Reaper at the door. Hopefully the other costume colors are easier on the eyes though. Her Los Muerteos costume is a helluva lot better than the default pink and purple vomit.
Still, I'm gonna have to deal with the fandom. Just wait until they make sombra a hyperfemme NB with boop/boop/boopself pronouns o/
Actually I've heard things like "the trans flag was in the ARG!" so of course she is a tranny now.
It's weird to see Tumblr get back on the rand0m-character-is-secretly-trans-ugu train, since everyone seemed content with the idea that Zarya was the designated Secret Trans. It started with a blog post written by Mia Violet, hosted by Laura "I'm A Grown Adult And I Still Think The Word 'Butt' Is Hysterical" Dale.

It even included the same circumstantial "the beams/colors are trans pride colors" bullshit as evidence too.

I'm waiting for the SJWs to bitch about how some of Sombra's skins give her blonde hair. After all, we know how much these people dislike naturally blond Hispanics.

Sombra's look has kinda grown on me. That said, I don't think she's a terribly strong offense hero.

Her damage output is underwhelming and her tools are fun but hard to use reliably. Her stealth breaks if you sneeze on her, same with the hacking.

She's kind of a gimmicky Tracer without the damage potential. Her ult is good for preventing the enemy from countering your ults but that's really it. It doesn't disable ults already in use. I get the idea is she shuts down high value targets, but Tracer and Genji already do that and they can confirm kills much more reliably.

Haven't gotten a chance to use Sombra yet outside of AI matches, but bought her cyberspace skin because it's awesome. She's kinda difficult for me personally.

Never played Overwatch, but found myself thinking about it today and it hit me.

You know what Overwatch is perfect for? Perfect for in a way almost no other game has been for 15 years?

The kart racing spinoff. This game needs a kart racing spinoff more than just about any other game out there.

There's been a massive dearth of them in the past couple generations because everyone and their mother had kart racing spinoffs back in the early 00's, but there haven't been many in a long time.

Overwatch Kart. Make it happen.

Well we got a soccer minigame when the olympics, maybe we could get a racing minigame with junkrat

I didn't find Sombra to be very useful either. I think the main problem with her is that
1-Loses all invisibility goes down on damage. Overwatch is just too spammy, you will get some splash damage wether you like it or not. TF2 spy doesn't lose his entire invis/disguise when he gets hit.

2-Hack isn't reliable at all. I know it has to be balanced but it takes over a second to hack someone and you get a 12 second cooldown at least the range is good and locking medkits is fun. Meanwhile Roadhog hook is only 6 seconds.

3- She is the only offense hero that CANT kill. Her range is shorter than they said (15m for max damage) but only hits consistently very close. She loses the 1v1 cause hacking won't stop other offense heroes from shooting her. Invisibility and teleport are much harder to use than blink+recall and dash+reflect and do no damage. Her ulti is great but alas, completely useless without teamwork.

IMO they should make her invisibility and hacking be almost instantaneous, not lose invisibility on hit and maybe drop hack dooldown to 10 secs. It's not that she is a bad character, it's that, her hacking utility is not worthy losing another offense hero that can actually kill things.

Not overwatch but just so you know, blizzard could copy this too eventually

Not just Junkrat, every character has a distinct color palette and design style. It's perfect for kart racing, even better than Mario Kart. Each kart would have a different design, different colorway, different stats (speed, acceleration, brakes, etc, whatever). It's seriously one of the most perfect games for the kart adaptation IMHO.

Am I only one that thinks that Sombra's design is cool? Sure it's not what we expected, but it's nice IMO.

Overwatch is a perpetual disappointment. There are never emotional highs and a constant barrage of "what the fuck"? Every death feels cheap, you feel weak and paper thin no matter who you're playing, you feel underpowered no matter who you're playing, you feel like you're splashing glasses of water on a burning fire in every game. I have never once felt like I made an impact on a game, even games I win, even games I win and get "play of the game" for. It feels poorly designed in every element except graphically and in the characters.

That's the fucking thing. The ENTIRE GAME is 1 hits. You wonder why you even have healers or health bars because the entire game is Reaper sneaking up on you or HIGH NOOOOOOON or being sniped or being frozen or being meathooked and instagibbed or being killed by D.Va's ultimate or being killed by anything by the pipebomb guy. There is no middle ground. It's so. Fucking. Boring.

And that's why my favorite so far is Mei. There's some counterplay with her shift ability. That's the only counterplay there is.

Yeah those 2 are so fucking out of balance in close range but you can one hit them, it's more about team synergy than than individual skill. I've gone back to cs lately coz it's just so much more predictable

it's like any team based game, if you do random matchmaking you WILL have a bad time
