Overwatch

I figured out what makes this game so grueling and unfun to play. It's the ultimate abilities. They were desperate for a USP, so they added something from Dota/LOL to make it TF2+.

Hear me out: They have these SUPER COOL abilities they you earn by killing shit to stimulate the brain a bit more and to change up the pace of the game. This is sort of like the Ubercharge from the Medic but for every character. However, in order for this to work and feel fulfilling for the DPS characters, they basically have to be 1 hit or near-instant kills. This is true for almost every non-support character. Every so often the DPS characters basically get the ability to arbitrarily remove you from the video game for about 30 seconds with zero counterplay besides "don't get caught by it", something which may be a fair point for the D.Va or Explodey-guy ults that can be dodged once you hear the audiovisual cue, but for Reaper it's just completely impossible to get away from.

So basically the only gimmick of the game ruins it. If you took out the ults there'd a really balanced and polished FPS where skill is ultimately what makes the game but instead it's a really balanced and polished FPS where every few minutes a player can take a really sharp stick and stab your hands so you have to take 30 seconds and not play the game.

Or you could stay away from a Reaper when he's obviously fishing for an ult.

What fucking counterplay! Wow! It's almost like he can walk behind the line very easily and then shift in!

His abilities both have very obvious animations and sounds, and the E is very slow. Also if he shifts in he's left himself with no escape.

Who needs escape when the entire enemy team is dead because his ult is literally a 1 hit kill for everyone around him? What fucking game are you playing? Cuz it ain't Overwatch.
I gave you advice on how to deal with it but you don't seem to be interested.

Your advice is literally "don't get hit". Thanks, noted. Great advice cunt.
Reapers ult can be interrupted with McCrees flashbang, or Ana's sleep dart. It renders it pretty much useless. If reapers are giving you trouble, McCree is a good counter.

Also Roadhog hooks.

More situational, but it's hella satisfying to knock an ulting Reaper off the map on Ilos or King's Row with a Lucio boop.

Reaper has low range 280 dps, a great AOE ult, and an easy escape. If you can deal with that you win. IMO his best counters are:

McCree: Shoot from mid range, if reaper gets close flashbang +fan will either kill or force him to run.

Pharah: Just fly and bombard him. There is literally nothing reaper can do if you're in the air.

D.Va: Can tank over 6 shots, doesn't need to reload, can fly away if hurt and matrix defends from ult. Just shoot him, reaper has to die first or escape.

Widow: Abuse your range, drop mine nearby, if you hear him close hook away.

Roadhog: Needs 5 shots to die, hook cancels his ult, should always wins a dps run. Can actually one shot reaper if you headshot.

His ult is strong but not instantaneous, the moment you hear DIE! you can stun him, reflect/recall/shield yourself or use Zen/Lucio ult to outheal it.

What was the reason for d.vas HP buff? That shit grinds my gears.
To make her a more viable option for main tank now that Reinhardt's shield is getting melted by 76. Sure there are other reasons but that's the main one I can think of.

I main support in every game, especially healers, but oh my fucking god I hold contempt for all the supports in this game. They're spectacularly unfun to play for various reasons, mostly because they're all pathetic and easy to kill and have no escapes.

Can anyone explain to me why Hanzo and Widowmaker are in this fucking game?

They're both really good when someone who can aim plays them. A good Hanzo wrecks shit and is the most infuriating thing to encounter in my opinion. That never happens though. Most Hanzo players are absolute shit or just plain mediocre. Same goes for Widowmaker too really.

Yeah, that's why I'm asking. You're in this team-based class-based FPS and you have two characters that are both CS:GO AWP snipers. Why?
