Overwatch

wat

I can still make the observation that Widowmaker is useless 99% of the time (at least at the levels at which I play, which are, according to rank, somewhere just south of mediocre) without it meaning I give a shit if she is or isn't.
Yeah I'm saying of course you won't see Widowmaker making a difference at lower levels of play.

Well that's just untrue about Hanzo. I get quickshot by him constantly. I also don't play either characters.
Reaper and Genji can both kill him quicker than he can kill them if they get the jump on him. You play Mei and D.va right? Both those characters can poo on Hanzo.

Well Mei can poo on anyone except Phara, D.Va and the fat one.

Apparently you guys don't play competitive because it's usually too late to switch from Mei to D.Va once you notice they have a good Hanzo.

Ah, yeah, that's true. Tough it seems that she's not used much at all at the highest pro levels either, unless that's changed very recently. I suppose she's good at "normie" high-levels of play?

Well she can take down D.va with help since her left click goes through defense matrix, and if youre lucky you can shift when Roadhog hooks you. She's pretty beastly right now.
By too late I guess you mean that the group is already disorganised and filing in to die instead of grouping up? In that case yeah there's nothing you can really do. The game requires a lot of team coordination which makes solo queue a nightmare.

At high levels she's a situational/specialist pick on certain maps like King's Row, the second part of Hollywood and Route 66.

Mei can take most the offensives alone, the biggest problem being McCree and his fucking flashbang imo. With Soldier you need to watch his rockets, once he's frozen a headshot will kill him unless he's buffed by Lucio or ehanced in any other way. Genji is super easy since he can't deflect her primary fire. Sombra dies fast if she can't port out. With Pharah you need to keep your distance and try to hit her with your secondary, otherwise she will fuck you up real fast.

But yeah, with d.va and Roadhog you need help because of their hp pool and Roadhogs hook + primary fire will oneshot you. Her secondary fire is surprisingly accurate and powerful, just the rate of fire is bad. Healers are fair game too, especially Mercy and Ana if you get close enough. My most played character together with Junkrat.

To summarize Symettra buffs:

-Left click lazor has a little more range.
-Right click charge shot goes faster.
-Can hold up 6 turrets for quick deployment now (instead of 3) and she starts with all 6. Cooldown down from 12 to 10.
-Shield gen skill removed, now you press E and she literally throws Reinhart shield flying in from of her. It has 1000hp and the energy part goes through walls. 10 sec cooldown.
-She has 2 ults now. If you press Q you switch the teleport por a Shield Generator building that gives 75 shields to all allies in a big area. It also has 50 hp/350 shields.

Found this video, watch to get an idea:

IMO she is much better to use but not really overpowered or anything. Weapon buffs means she can actually hit things now but her dps is still low. Carrying more faster turrets helps her first setup but not much on the long run. Her new flying barrier is pretty interesting but it looks too hard actually defend someone with this, it's probably more of a distraction for team fights than anything. Her new ult sounds amazing on theory, +75 shields for everyone makes a huge difference for holding the last point but on practice, it's still just like her teleporter and any gengi/tracer can flank and destroy it in 2 seconds.

But of course, a lot of casual players think she was already "overpowered" so who knows... Just reminder that all her weaknesses are still there, if someone picks symetra, just pick Pharah/Winston.

I'm sorry but what?
Last time I was posting on anything Blizzard related was during the Lord of Destruction days. At least back then people just cried about rune words and SoJs and shit like that. Not about PTSD and triggering and all that jazz.

I main Genji alot in Overwatch. Because his reflect is hilarious and I've been getting alot of salt from players for it. Especially from those who play bastion, roadhog, and reaper.

Other characters I enjoy using is junkrat, d.va, mercy, and mei.

I've been getting pretty decent with Genji too. On King's Row I love playing him for his vertical mobility in that map. There's nothing quite like killing a Pharah by deflecting one of her own rockets back into her face.
