I’ve been playing the Stadium mode and find it interesting. I thought it would be a ripoff of Marvel Rivals, but it’s really not. Kinda reminds me of PvP Mann Vs Machine with its upgrade mechanics. I’m interested to see how they’re going to make it work with 30+ heroes.

I think with adding bans Blizzard has accepted the fact that Sombra is fundamentally incompatible with Overwatch and therefore impossible to balance without completely stripping her of her identity as a hacker.

Some heroes in Stadium are flat our retarded, Zarya if your team are not retarded is insane. You can get a build where bubbles are on a 5-second cooldown, and you bubble an extra person, and on top of that, you have 800 hp and overhealth when a shield is down.

The game mode reminds me of how many retards play this game though and whilst it is an interesting mode. Games drag, and the cynic in me makes me think it is exploited to gauge MAUs.

The Fortnite Effect has truly been disastrous. Nobody wants their own identity since a fast track to money is whore the thing out to as many well known/established I.Ps as possible.

Without taking the extra step Fortnite takes to incorporate its collabs into the gameplay. When Fortnite added Godzilla, you could actually play as a full-sized Godzilla and wreck things with your breath.

I don't suppose Blizzard added a "gundam" mode where you pilot or fight Gundams. Or even a new (or reskinned) map featuring Gundams.
 
MS Girls existed at least since the movie Gundam Char's Counterattack, it reeks of laziness by Blizzard. In addition to Call of Duty Gundam collaboration did put in effort to make the MS skins look like body armor and clothing for the bendy parts ala arms, legs, waist and neck.

There were a few interesting collabs this time around. They weren't good, but they were interesting. Personally liked the battle pass this time around- sakura Ana goes hard.

Its long been a joke that the SFM Videos of Overwatch characters would outlive Overwatch, it feels like less and less of a joke every time I hear news about Overwatch 2.

OW2 has to be making them some money, but knowing Acti-Blizz I'm actively surprised its still up. Guessing Microsofts really trying to make back what they spent buying them...

It's the same way as adding the anime skins it's just the shape of something you like from another thing. It's to me the laziest way to do a crossover unless i am missing something. At the very very very least when CoD adds corny shit like Homelander they gave him takedowns that are in character.

I don't know, I think the game is up purely to save face. If M$ kills it, then they pretty much confirm that the Activision acquisition was pointless and a waste of money. I have not played in ages, but I saw the trailer and the D.Va mythic looks straight ass. For example for me, I would rather play Pokémon Unite because it's just more fun. They thought bringing back lootboxes would bring people back in droves, but it was too late. They waited 3 fucking years ffs, what do they think would happen.

For the love of god let Ramattra get a fucking mythic before this shitshow gets canned.

Stadium has been pretty fun though.
