Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

Does putting them through the retard squisher not level up their skills too 🤔?
(Haven't used it much yet tbh)
Once they hit max level condensation, all their workable skills gain a +1.
More areas like the Gobfin village where you have distinct biomes filled with a certain type of Pal would probably help. I know there's a couple places like that, and you wouldn't want it to just be one pal,
I'm pretty sure areas like the Gobfin sands exist to make it easier to grind shit like Pal Fluids without having to sort through irrelevant spawns. Which is nice for resources that cant be traditionally farmed.

I think Palworld needs to take it several steps further, why stop at making things look like Pokemon?

I want to see a Warhammer 40k space ork pal damn it, they can use shotguns and everything. Fuck it, do a space marine too, if they want to stick with the animal theme just make it a space wolf with those dumb furry helmets they all wear. Just file those serial numbers off and call it a day.

That's what the upcoming mod support is for.

The Steam Workshop is gonna be lit if Nintendo has to start policing that whole thing.

Didn't they explicitly say they're not working on mod support?
It wasn't mentioned on the roadmap image, but they did say this in their Early Access FAQ:
[Does Palworld support modding? Steam Workshop?]
Steam Workshop support won't be supported straight away but we plan to add it after launch. Palworld is made in Unreal Engine 5 and we look forward to seeing what sort of mods people come up with!

I hesitate to call it a thought, but consider, do troons hate the game because it shows
A) There are only two genders and
B) You need both for a baby?

Solid game, fun as fuck, cost me alot of sleep. It just feels so good to play. Though that said, there's tons of optimization issues it needs to fix.

If Palworld lets me turn the desert region into mini-Kenshi, I'm all for it. As for mods, there's always the chans to dump your mod in or other forums.

I got a blueprint for a witch hat and crafted it. I love it!

I know that the armour is damaged, I barely made it out alive from 2 panda things (THAT CAN FLY?!) before this screenshot

I am also capturing all the syndicate and pal alliance grunts that I can to sell them for money lol

And I just realized that the PIDF might be a pun for the IDF. if so, I want a mod to replace the models with Hila Klein

Last I remember - Generation 6 - Pokémon also supported normal breeding only.
apparently that's also the still case in pokemon, even with the newest games (just with a more retarded and less intuitive way to do it, which i didn't know until I checked bulbapedia), just the only exception is Ditto because of it's transformation gimmick.

The fact that Palworld doesn't seem to have a ditto equivalent might help with that theory.

I still think you'll see a response from Nintendo but that much is a given.
There already has been. It's earlier in the thread. I think it was Game Freak had to put out a statement because Palworld haters kept spamming them.

Related question. Who do you guys think the salty anti-Palworld people are?

I've been hearing they're pokemon fans, though I don't recall this kind of vitriol being sprayed at Digimon or the like. The attitude I've seen from Pokemon fans that Palworld gives them what Game Freak failed to. Meanwhile, in the Discord servers where people fly into a rage about this, I've noticed pretty much all are far-left pronouns-in-bio types. Or maybe the ven diagram is just a circle, I don't know.

Do you guys think Palworld will spawn a lot of clones the way PUBG and Among Us did? What direction do you think they'll take?

Ditto has been used as a breeding tool since eggs were introduced in Gen II, probably more of a "wildcard" and way to breed Pokémon like Tauros. There was no "Ditto supports trans right" bullshit back then.

Saying that Ditto is a representation of trans is hilariously self-defeating. They're admitting that being trans is being a cheap imitation of the original, just like Ditto.

I doubt it. The devs mentioned that they used to make 1 pal a month before they got a lucky break with their current artist, who had sketches of not-pokemon that could be adapted for this game. If anyone tries to do something like this, and there might be a couple, they'd have to deal with a similar issue.

Who do you guys think the salty anti-Palworld people are?
The terminally-online who tie their identities to the corporate products they buy and view a "competitor's" success as an attack on their personal self-image. They're probably Pokemon "fans" in the same way they're D&D "fans" or whatever other product they can wear on themselves as a bio badge of honor while badgering the company to put more support for their personal social issue crusade.

Open-World Survival Crafting's already a massively bloated genre, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if, over the next year or two, we started seeing more games in that genre start putting in "creature capture" elements. It'll probably be similar to something like Stardew Valley, where you have numerous indie developers go "Look how much money they made!" and taking the wrong lessons, making shallow copies without much to stand out.

One of the things I remember from Pokémon Gold (the last Pokémon game I truly enjoyed--I'm not even sure I even beat R/S and definitely not D/P) was the music and the exploration.

Crystal kind of ruined this with the names of the town appearing on the bottom, but nothing like rolling into a new town with the music changing...

And cake. Don't forget there must also be cake.

On the topic of breeding finally got to the point where I could give that a try, had to buy some of the ingredients because I'd yet to get the necessary pals to be churning them all out on the base. Turns out breeding a manta ray and a giant bird gives you a flame samurai. Because of course it does.
