Nope. I even deleted it and the crashes still happen. I also realized that I can just... play with the crash prompt still open. It doesnt' freeze the game or anything, so I can minimize and ignore it. The game works and saves as normal.

Does anyone else get a massive frame drop when facing northwest-ish? I go from 60-90 frames to like 10-15. Seems like the issue is somewhere on Mount Obsidian.

Been playing this again and I'm surprised how much it's been spruced up since last I played. There's cute little questgivers all over the place, the towns are much more lively, traversal is nicer, Pals have more animations, way more QOL features...I'm happy to see it coming along so well.

Maybe that 66k can be used to hire actual competent devs for Gamefreak so that their next game doesn't suck ass. Or at least works properly and in double digit framerates at launch.

Best we can do is some Indians Saar. Super Mario Mumbai Bros will now just be Indian streets instead of sewer pipes. Pokemon healing potions will be cow urine.
 
Got a chance to play it for like an hour or two today. It's more like ARK than a Pokémon game, don't know why Nintendo is suing and much like ARK I don't like it. A lot of games do survival and crafting way better these games aren't it.
 
Haven't really played since may 2024 ans been meaning to give the game another go. Do I need to start a new save to get all of the new stuff?

No, everything gets added in to your game. Only issue I’ve seen come up is a base may get deleted if it was on top of something new added in, but I’m pretty sure that was patched.

Then I will keep playing there, advancing some stuff like the ancient tech tree was slow/boring but I heard they reworked dungeons and fishing helps with getting ancient tech points

GF knows that if they hire a legit coder who fixes the games issue, the seniors are gonna have a meltdown.
Any gamefreak employee that is involved in textures, modeling and coding are garbage tier compared to other studios.

Pokemon is what DbD is to BHVR, lightning in a bottle that sells despite the countless issues that plague the company.

If they can't become better due to senior employees being unfireable, they'll just lolsuit any competitor that they come across.
