How the FUCK do people enjoy Hoi 4? I played 3 campaigns and either you research the right stuff and totally win or you try to have fun and roleplay and loose. At least with eu4/5 you can get creative with how you play. What a waste of money, my God. I'm serious, please someone tell me the appeal of that game.

Also it is/was easiest pdx to get into. Everyone has atleast rough idea what is WW2 . And most of mechanics were not difficult to understand. I am not sure how true is that anymore. With all busy work pdx introduced like MIOs and various designersIt lets history spergs play visual novels without feeling guilty.
Its a real shame Vicky 3 doesn't have that. One of my biggest complaints is how quickly you pushed towards industrial nitrogen synthesis due to a severe lack of natural sources for it like manure, guano, or mineral deposits when IRL that shit didn't happen until the early 1900's.I like the idea of fighting over guano islands in the pacific.
