Paranormal phenomena you HOPE are real?

We often talk about skepticism and debunking things, but I'm sure we all have things we wish were real, or hope get proven someday.

I've said before, one of mine is time travel (if that can be considered a paranormal/supernatural thing). Another one of mine is the ability to remember past lives. For this latter, I think it would be good for society in general if A) past lives were proven to be a real thing and B) we found a consistent method of unlocking them.

Cuz think about it... it would avoid a lot of the dumb shit we see often. Especially in politics where it seems people repeat the same shit again and again and never learn. Add past life memory to the mix and suddenly people are like "Oh, wait, I shouldn't believe this propaganda because its just like what I experienced when I was a soldier in Rome!"

If past lives were a thing, I could see that as useful. One thing that comes to mind is I think people would hold grudges after their next life, if it was discovered. Inevitably you're going to fuck up one of your lives, it would be interesting to see if others would forgive you down the line.
If we discovered Ted Bundy's new life, do you think we'd kill him again? Imagine if we could deal out true life sentences, if he killed at least 30 women, should he be put to death 30 times? Or is all forgiven into the next life?

Another question I'd have is if you would take your personality into the next life as well, I think that would be a huge factor in the decision.

More seriously, I hope some kind of reincarnation is real. I don't think it is, but I hope it is. I don't believe in an afterlife, but I hate the thought of my existence just switching off forever one day. Allowing myself to hope some new existence awaits us after death lessens my existential dread a little.
