Pathfinder: Kingmaker - From Tabletop to Desktop

Unironically switch it to Game Journalist mode if/when this happens. This simulates the experience of having a DM that isn't incredibly adversarial and actually wants you to finish the campaign because he likes you and enjoys DMing. Or else do boring min max builds and spam selective grease for 200 hours. Your choice.

Sensei monk is pretty great as a support that can do a little bit of damage but the other monks are for dips only. Sohei and Scaled Fist are pretty good dips though.
I remember being forced to switch to game journalist outside entrance of final dungeon. Becauce having not even named demon that dodges 95% of attacks, with unavoidable AOE and reincarnation as enemy is fun.

I am kinda suprised Kween Galfrey didnt get any hate in this thread.

Monks are handy as fuck in 5e though. They get to do a ton of damage and have good AC easier than Fighters, and their archetypes add even more versatility than Fighter ones do. (Although if you run a fighter as anything but a Crossbow Expert in 5e you're fucking yourself over hard in terms of damage output, and great weapon or sword-and-board types are just plain fucked over.)
There's also PF2 monks and having as much AC as a paladin constantly spending 1 action to raise their shield.
And having a better riposte.

Also I think the only class that has the ability to hover in place without spending an action.
The trick with monks is that they're not fighters, so don't use them like fighters.
Speaking of WotR, the Enhanced Edition finally came out and it was so limpdicked and disappointing that even Reddit started calling out Owlcat over it.

Guess I'll wait until the Deluxe Definitive Final Director's Cut Edition before I do a replay.
I would've gotten the hint owlcat is a shitty dev when they couldn't even implement something as simple as FUCKING AI FOR YOUR PARTY.

finished my lich play not long ago. having a full party of undead was an interesting experience. it had so many broken abilities it pretty much made you an immortal for most of the game.

the best part was turning Camilla into living statue and exacuting the rest of the crusade who refused to fall in line. if you wont serve me in life, you may as well slave for me in death.

Based. I used her as a sacrifice because I loved her. Did you ascend?

Galfrey is terminally retarded in the game, was she any better during the adventure path?
Didnt play adventure path myself , but from what I heard in adventure path your PC is her bodyguard so in that context it makes more sence for PC to keep fixing her fuck ups and dont turn on her way sooner.

Is the new season pass for WotR worth picking up? I’m interested in the shifter but as for the rest it looks pretty ho-hum from what I’ve seen. A handful of smallish dungeons and a dating sim quest? That’s it? Worth the $25 or so to get or not?

Finishing my 6th WotR playthrough. Never played as angel and having fun as monk. I am not autistic enough to play it on harder difficulties. My favourite mythic path is still Azata, though

I would wait personally. If you are super interested in the Shifter just buy the DLC separately. I bought SP1 on a big discount and I think its worth it at the discount.

My personal philosphy on SP's is that if you don't know what you are getting, you shouldn't buy it.
