There's also theories from telegram screencaps going around that Dogpatch is in fact doing this, which is why he wants evidence sent to him and not here or the cops. Mangcho (a "non-furry" who hangs around altfur circles who also said that the leak is a coordinated op, more info here) posted screencaps claiming Dogpatch is hiding info. If true, this would confirm the theory that Dogpatch is covering for his own pals. That might also explain some of his behavior, like exposing pedos and dogfuckers when they're involved in a group he hates but covering for people like Growly.

Furries literally watch and fap to videos if animal mating. Some "smarter" ones claim tbat they only look at irl animal stuff in the name of "research" & "references". While morning honest characters just straight up say they fap to real animals. With no shame whatsoever. Pretty much every furry (or at least the ones that make so called """fantasy""" art) do this. Fantasy is just a key word for zoophile in denial.
Powerlevel here, but when I was a young teen, I was interested in the furry "fandom". And I decided that I'd watch a furry stream. In the stream the artist was literally posting youtube videos of Zebras fucking, and talking about how much he would like to fuck one too because "Zebras cum alot". ("But it's just a 'fantasy' bro! *wink wink* ") This is normal accepted behavior in that community, and that is what I was exposed to as a young teenager.
