In all seriousness, there have been numerous bouts of silence in the Pativerse. Every major humiliation (Josiah 5, Apostlegate, losing his Twitter 2, etc) has been followed by a period of silence after which time he slowly rolled back into the usual motions. There have been a handful of "unexplained" ones, and these are most likely his wife/wife's family yelling at him and telling him to stop or else. He always comes back though. Whoever is "pressuring" him to stop has no backbone and never does anything when Patrick violates their ultimatums. Reminder that when Josiah asked him what his friends/family thought of his constant replying, he oddly responded by saying "they know they can't stop me".

Tbh though I'm putting my money on his phone getting lost while on taxpayer-funded vacation.
