Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

This new guy may be even dumber than Patrick. In less than 24hrs he's claimed to have contacted the local police AND the FBI. And they've both already solved the case and now arrests just need to be made, and they will be, very soon, like tomorrow, or maybe the next day, soon!
New thread fodder?

John Pavlovitz, a "Christian" pastor from Frog's Balls North Carolina who writes gay books that basically amount to "Come on guys, just be nice to each other"
dude looks twitter famous in the way pat pretends. when people find success as a pundit it becomes less funny because that starts blurring the line between the insanity and the grift. rick does it for free.

John is amazing, I see why OnA people went after him.

Considering he has to buy followers and had to sue to get his Twitter account backed I think it's safe to say Rick pays for the privilege.

For anybody who needs reminding, this one is based on this Facebook exchange from when he was suspended from Twitter...

Yes, he was actually threatening to fly to Twitter HQ to force them into explaining themselves to him re his account suspension. I'm sure that would've gone just as he imagined it in his head.

Twitter truly broke this fucker's already damaged brain.
I can imagine this. A receptionist would call security and the big wigs might just hear a bitchy squeal as he's dragged out.

John is amazing, I see why OnA people went after him.

All that stuff shows a man who's coping, seething and dilating. He does care what Trump supporters say, and he'd top himself if Trump returned to the White House as POTUS.

The similarities are certainly there, he even has a blog post where he talks about being suicidal, just like Pat.

Also, the church he used to work at booted him for being a fake Christian, or he's lying and was fired for diddling kids.

The only interesting moments on Pat's twitter today involved him sperging about the Rittenhouse trial. Kyle shot a pedophile, and I think Pat is scared that he might be next if Kyle is released.

Say Your Worst... So I screencap it and snitch on you to the police

Pat Struggles with concepts like "Premeditated"

The author Pat that collaborated with is 'rakdaddy', or Adam Rakunas, a SFWA member who suspiciously deleted their entire twitter account a couple of months ago, then surfaced on a new one and begged all his old followers to follow him again. Given that Patrick S. Tomlinson is a pedophile and they're close friends, I imagine rakdaddy got rid of his old twitter to hide the evidence of him grooming children. I think their 'collaboration' is tongue-in-cheek, but here it is.

Better resolution of Pat's chapter one:

Pat felt that sweet dopamine from his nonsensical twitter thread about Mars and decides to go in for another hit.

This is the account that requested Pat give another lecture.

View attachment 2679543

Despite claiming to be from The Netherlands, the timeline for this account is nothing but retweets of The Lincoln Project and other American political twitter accounts that Pat follows on his main. Pat also has a history of making twitter alts with pictures of cats. Did Pat just use a twitter alt to request another lecture on Mars from himself?
You know what's funny about Pat's writing? As lame as the style is, it's not far off from the greats. I've been reading through Clarke and Asimov and all the classics I never got around to, and their prose is pretty laughable at time and usually very basic. The beginning of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is some of the clumsiest exposition I've ever read.

Which is to say that the reason Pat sucks is entirely because of his lame ideas and plotting.

In genre fiction you can get away with mediocre prose because like you implied, themes and ideas are what people are looking for/at especially in sci-fi. Frank Herbert is also infamous for his 5/10 prose if we're going to add to the list of 'mediocre writers who were great science fiction authors'. I'd argue that Pat is more towards poor than mediocre though. Not as bad as someone like Cuck Wendig but the problems I run into with his writing are worse than Frank Herbert using the word "betrayed" every other page.

But yes, the prose is not the problem. His body of work so far as I can tell contains nothing especially interesting thematically and his characters are really flat. I've never been much of a plot person and I haven't delved deeply enough into his corpulent corpus to provide a fair criticism there, so I won't speak to that. His writing isn't aggressively bad, I honestly have an easier time engaging with that.

Children wasn't even that bad. Heretics and Chapterhouse, the guy's just writing some weird sex fantasy at that point. His wife died in 1983 and those books came out in 1984 and 1985 so I guess you could forgive him for being sexually frustrated. Probably jerked it so hard he gave himself a heart attack while writing the seventh book.

yea I always thought the later books that got really weird were the Brian Herbert Abortions but Frank Herbert wrote some crazy shit.
