There is something so odd about this special brand of middle-aged democrat machismo. It's just constant impotent rage.

If he had chosen a good way to develop and express your masculinity (weightlifting, bjj, etc.), instead of expressing it through screeching politics at others and pretending to be tough online, he'd be in such a better place, mentally and physically.

The barbell has a way of humbling you, and makes you realize the limits of who you are as a man, and how to accept that, and improve slowly and incrementally. It drains all the aggression out of you. If this guy trained 4 times a week, he wouldn't have the energy or desire to rage online against everything. Given all his chins, it would also help in that department too.

It's just so odd. If he even took a fraction of his twitter time and did something productive physically, I think he could become a different person. But he never did, and the way he acts makes me think he never will. The milk is fantastic from this guy, don't get me wrong. But seeing such failed, maladaptive "macho" attitude is always kinda sad to me, like he could have been a completely different person if he was guided to the right outlets.

MovieBob also hasn't taken out a fraudulent PPP loan, so even if he got banned he couldn't afford to pay a lawyer $5k to get his Twitter account back. MovieBob is still a better person than Patrick.
