Hey, Jay. I would just like to say that I am Marinetrainedteen on the Twitch chat and Dorknado on Steam. I really liked your streams at first, they can still be fun, but they kinda lack substance now. I believe they are good for you cuz they can kinda take out of your comfort zone, especially when it comes to playing multiplayer or games that you are not used to (I am playing a lot of Persona 3 lately, hopefully you might play that game one day on stream!). There is still substance to be found when it comes to interacting with your fanbase. You should do that more when work doesn't get in the way so much.
Anyway, I would just like to ask: What do you define as getting ''rich and famous''? You said that your comics are a way to help you get there. But you should be aware that many rich and famous people have to live stressful, busy lifes. Actors need to deal with auditions, reading scripts, meeting up with agents and other professionals and peform the roles that they are tasked to, which is not an easy thing to do, and not everyone can pull it off. Writers need to constantly revise their works, deal with publishing companies, have a good outline of what they are trying to achieve in their work. And you can't forget, when they get their 15 minutes of fame, they need to deal with interviews and fans. Basically, these people need to work very hard to achieve what they want, and they have to constantly "get out there" to be able to still be relevant. And not everyone will be able to deal with that. No wonder you find many broken actors, singers, writers and whatnot.
I gonna be very honest with you here, but you don't seem to have the qualities of someone who can manage to get fame. You seem to prefer to just stay in your room and play videogames and your works don't seem to be revised and reviewed a lot. These aren't healthy attitudes for someone who is trying to get famous.
Please, Jay, listen to what people are trying to tell you here. Find a therapist. Get in contact with other people, especially your old high school and college friends. Get out of your confort zone. You don't need to get ''rich and famous'' to find some satisfaction in life, obviously. But if you want to get that status, you need to go work on it. It doesn't appear out of nowhere. It's like writing a book: you need to constantly revise the contents of the book to get it finished and published.
I think you can create a good book of your life, but you need to constantly revise it to be actually good.
