ok probably a dumb question, but if I hated Suicide Squad and especially Jon Cena's character in it, should I watch this or just skip it since its clearly not for me?

Nah, he shouldn't. That's a few hours he could have spent giving other, better shows, a chance. Hell, read a book!

To give my own answer to his question, if you didn't like him in Suicide Squad and weren't bowled over by the movie, skip it. It's just a watered down version of both with an extra side of Wokeness. It just ain't worth it.

It came out just yesterday, new episode are every Thursday but yes the turnout for this isn't too big.

All that said the newest episode was alright.

My only gripe is it felt like an asspull that Vigilante could be manipulated so hard by Waller's daughter. Peacemaker didn't say it outright but it felt pretty clear that he'll fucking murder anyone who'd kill his scumbag father. I liked the reveal that Murn has been bodysnatched by the Butterflys so the team currently is doomed to fail.
 
the show has a lot of problems. it's weirdly overly sexual, every character has to be Quirky, Peacemaker went from a Terminator type figure to someone who seems massively incompetent.

but i kinda weirdly really like Vigilante, even though he isn't comic book accurate, the fact he's just a straight psychopath really appeals to me.
 
I've seen a few funny clips on Youtube, but it really seems like a show that is only "good" as clips on Youtube. Am I right?

Not sure if the tweet was a part of the screenshots in question, but I really would not be shocked. “Woke” storylines in current day really hurt TV shows than actually help them.

Watched latest, I liked the Butterfly jail scene on mute. The White Dragon suit looked great in the comics, this looks like CW with gore. Still wanna see what's next tho.
 
Made it 2 episodes in and had to quit after the prison scene. I just can't deal with the checkbox crew and the implication that despite there being aliens that will kill the planet the real enemy is racism. I detest this form of preachiness from hollywood pedophiles.

I'm a bit biased because I've only ever watched this sloshed with my drinking buddy, but it's okay. Diversity woman is surprisingly not awful considering she's diversity woman. Autistic deadpool is funny enough, and I'm hoping they do something with the dad being white dragon.
 
i know i said it before, but i honestly really do enjoy Vigilante

the fact he's kind of an idiot and comedic relief but -not- incompetent is really nice. He's borderline the most dangerous person on the show, at least more so than Peacemaker himself.

I just enjoy seeing a psychotic character who both has a personality and is competent at what he does.
