Bruce Jenner has been in the SJW shitlist for eons.

High profile progressive individual comes out as trans and begins campaigning for a better life for the differently gendered. Is immediately ripped to shreds by the transgendered 'community'. The message is clear. Don't ever try to be successful, troons and tumblrinas. The second you smell the vague scent of a win over your heaps of bullshit, your community will immediately try to drag you back into the neurotic hell they've built for themselves. If you want success, you picked the wrong group of friends.

Getting high fives and free beers when you have a victory is cis privilege.

Even after having this explained to me, I remain uncertain what the anger is over? How is anything even be stretched? This seems odd? If you're mad over this, why not anything else? And I know they are mad over everything else- but I mean, literally why not the color blue or Mount Olympus? I am honestly unsure how this is more provoking than just putting a can of Pepsi on the screen with the words "Just drink this" under it. Like did they just pick this commercial at random?

I think it was deliberately made to poke at one of social media's (many) raw nerves. Pepsi made this commercial deliberately to provoke this exact kind of response. People are outraged. People are outraged about the outrage. People are talking about the various outrages. And what's at the center of every single conversation? Pepsi. News story? Pepsi. Article? Pepsi. Twitter? Pepsi. People are deliberately going out of their way to watch an ad and talk about it. That's an advertising executive’s wet dream.

Controversy and outrage sells, and the Twitterati is playing right into their hands. Corporations aren't fighting in the Great Culture War of the Internet, they're just selling weapons to both sides. As long as provocation gets their content to go viral, they'll keep doing it, and laughing all the way to the bank about what gullible, easily-manipulated spergs the rest of us are.

I'm more upset that they don't make Pepsi One anymore.

Reminds me of an old Russian joke.

Satan is giving a politician a tour of Hell. They come to a huge kettle at which a lot of demons are gathered and busy thrusting away at all the people being boiled in it with their tridents.
Satan: "This is where we keep the Jews. They're a troublesome lot, these Hebrews; every time one of them tries to escape, the others all follow his lead, so they keep our guards really busy."
Next they come to another huge kettle in which just a few demons are gathered around mostly leaning on their tridents and looking bored.
Satan: "This is where we keep the Poles. They're only a little trouble, since every time one of them tries to escape, the others just ignore him. We only have to keep a few guards around to make sure none of them ever gets out."
Finally, they come to another kettle just as big as the others, but there's no one guarding it.
Satan: "This is where we keep the Russians. Whenever one of them tries to escape, the others all grab him by the heels and drag him back in!"

SJWs and troons are the same as the Russians in this particular joke. They get pissy at people who are 'one of them' actually succeeding in life, because it forces them to acknowledge that it's not oppression that keeps them down; it's their shit attitude. It's a dare I say 'toxic' mindest.

Jenner is also a Republican. I guess that outweighs troonhood.

Cops are literally Hitler!

It's all just different flavors of fucking sugar water sold by horrible corporations that rape the land and murder and enslave natives everywhere while turning America so fucking fat that diabetes is something kids get by the time they're 6.

Here's my commercial.

Kendall Jenner and a cop are watching some savages riot. Kendall Jenner has an old fashioned glass Coke bottle! She winks and gives it to the cop, who smashes in some hippie's face with it.

The real problem is that they displayed a Muslim woman wearing a hijab
“The Muslim woman in their ad operates as nothing more than a signifier for diversity and a vague notion of resistance. She’s merely window dressing, in the same way that images of Muslim woman are used as tokens in protest photos,” Herwees writes.
I guess commercials should just not show muslim woman? Or are companies obligated to have all muslim women give speeches on Syria or whatever in the commercials? It's Huffpo so it's obviously exceptional but really, wtf do they want...

"Everyone who complains about virtue signalling and tokenism is alt-right, but as always it's okay when we do it."
