He's just jealous of a fictional character for having a girlfriend and (presumably) getting laid before he's even been willingly kissed. With someone that isn't his mom.Reposting:

Why the fuck does this autist shut-in give a shit about Saturday delivery? He's never had a job in his life!
Also, if you ever read letters to the editor, you should keep this in mind as the kind of person who writes these things:

Every single person who writes a letter to the editor is fucking retarded!
I've been yelling "GARFIELD IS DEAD" & throwing pennies at my monitor, but it just isn't the same.
I don't think that's funny at all. I think that's horrible. I even tried imagining Peter as that kid & it still made me feel bad.
I'd like to think he's just hamming it up & trying to. . .I dunno, rub it in my face or something? But maybe even that's giving him too much credit. The way he writes the Garfield post, I want to believe he's being sarcastic there... but I might be expecting too much from the man who wrote "Triumph of the Retart."
So, sometimes I wonder why Peter is so involved with this show? The themes post-Triumphant seem to run counter to everything he believes in. Daria and her sister are able to put aside their differences and form an actual bond in the last season, they let go off all those years of being nasty to each other. It shows Daria is part of the problem and holds her responsible, not the victim of an uncaring society and therefore free from any consequences. Not to mention, the popular kids are not evil baby-eaters who go out of their way to intentionally bully other students. I'd wager he's one of those folks who hold the early seasons in high regard because they are closer to his worldview. If anything, it should have grown off-putting to him since it would ultimately tell him to get over himself and grow up.
